This outfit was so cute online, so I purchased the 24-month size for my 18-month old. It ended up being WAY too small - it was 3 inches too short, and I couldn't button it up at all. Also, the construction in general was poor. The ears were misshapen and the body of the outfit had a huge neck hole but a tiny torso.

I was so excited to get this item. My son is entranced by dogs so I thought it would be the perfect Halloween costume. Unfortunately when I got it, it was stained in two places with something black, a button had fallen off, and my 5 month old son could not fit in the 6-12 month size. Big dissapointment!

We ordered this item weeks in advance of Halloween and ordered a 9-12 month for our smaller than average 10 month old. Of course we didn't try it on until a few days before Halloween and it was too small so we had to order the 12-24 and have it overnighted and send the other one back before Halloween. The 12-24 was way too small also. Remember, we have a small 10 month old.

This costume is very cute but small. I ordered a 6-12 months for my 6 month old. The head piece did not fit at all and my son is a normal size. The quality could definitely be improved. The paws were tethered to the inside of the sleeve and one came off when putting the costume on for the first time. Also the one of the snaps pulled off the first time we put it on him. With a little improvement the costume could be much better. I would still recommend this to a friend just get a bigger size.

This costume runs really small! Bought the 12-24 month size for my 10-month old and it was too small--too short, actually. It also seemed really flimsy and it started shedding immediately. I sent it back!

i purchased the 6-12 month size for my 8 month old son who is only 16 pounds and actually small for his age - he is still wearing 3-6 months clothes - and the costume was way to small so i cant figure out if it was mislabelled or what

I bought this costume for my 15 month old son. I ordered a size 12-24 months which, according to the sizing, should fit infants up to 28 pounds. My son is 22 pounds and short for his age and this costume was way too small. The headpiece barely fit over his head and at least four of the snaps fell off before I even got him into the costume. Very disappointed.

This costume is very cute, but the size(12-24 months) was too small for my very average size 13month old son. It also arrived with a small hole in one of the gloves/paws. It also does not include a dog collar, even though it is pictured in the catalog and online with a collar. Not pleased at all, and very inconvenienced.

I ordered the 12 month size for my son who is 12 months. His feet hung about 3 inches out the bottom and I couldn't snap the hood to the rest of the outfit because it was too small! The tag in the costume said 12-24 month. It fit my average sized 12 month old like it was a 6 month size. So disappointing!

The quality of the costume was great. My son wore it with nothing underneath and was very comfortable.
However, when I received the costume, I had ordered a 6-12 month, but the tag said 12-24. There is no way is was 12-24, it barely fit my 11 month old, and the "head" that comes with it was much smaller, I could not even get it over his head.

I was extremely disappointed in this product! I had already returned the smaller version and found that the larger one was probably ever-so-slightly bigger! It didn't fit also and he had to wear it, we didn't have time to get another costume. I bought their halloween outfits from you last year too, was pleased with the three that fit, but I will probably not buy another from you, it was either marked the wrong size or just made wrong. The baby is 14 months and is on the small side, so I thought the 6-12 mos. would fit good, but the 12-24 mos.SHOULD have fit! It was not as great for him, he couldn't wear the puppy head hat and his costume was unrecognizable.

Whats not so great about it is that I had to replace all the snaps. The seams on the head peace were ripped. And my son is only 11 months, and a costume labled 12-24 months barely fits.

I don't usually write reviews but when I saw how poorly the reviews were on this Halloween costume, I just had to share my own personal experience. I bought this costume for my son last year for his first Halloween. He wore it to two parties, at the pumpkin patch (where he also played in the hay), to the zoo's Halloween fest and then on Halloween night. This is his second Halloween and he's wearing the costume again. He's been back to the pumpkin patch, two more parties, the zoo's Halloween fest, jumped around in the costume during music class when they had dress up day and he's wearing it again for Halloween tomorrow night. He will be 2 in a couple of weeks.
My son is only about 25 pounds and in the 50th percentile in height and the costume is getting snug on him. I can only snap the front snaps to keep his hat on and not the back two snaps or it would just be way too tight around his neck. He definitely won't be able to wear it next year. So if your child is on the taller side, the 24 month size may not fit. We've not had any trouble with weak seems or poor construction from this costume.
For us, it's perfect and since we've gotten so many uses out of this costume over the past two years, it has been well worth the money.
It's also an adorable costume. We get so many compliments on it everywhere we go.

The outfit is as cute as it appears in the magazine. If it had fit my son, he would be wearing it this Halloween.
Unfortunately, it is too small for him. My boy is 10 months old and in the 94th percentile for height, so I ordered the 12 - 24 month costume. The head piece went on, but the strap wouldn't close. The body suit only reached up to his shoulders. I thought this must be mislabeled and should have been noted as a 6 - 12 month costume, but I was told by a costume vendor at the local mall that one piece costumes run small.
Give yourself plenty of time ordering in case you need to return it for another costume.

I was fooled by the picture of this product. Once I received it, I saw that the material was very cheap and my child couldn't wear it. I had to go out and buy a new costume.

I ordered the 12-24 month size for my 17 month old son, who is completely average size for his age (50th percentile). The costume was WAY too small. The headpiece could not fit over his head, and the body was much shorter than he is. I was very disappointed, because I won't have time to replace it, and I otherwise liked the costume a lot!

I think the costume is adorable. The problem however, is with the construction of the costume. The first time I tried it on my son, 3 buttons fell off. As I continued to put the costume on I realized the left paw had come off the costume. We did not pull or tug the paw, we simply went to put it on and the paw was no longer attached. The ears (head piece) has very rough material inside and doesn't seem comfortable. We are currently modifyng the costume so that the head piece fits comfortably. [...] The costume was [$] which in my opinion would have been worth every penny if it had not fallen apart before our son's first halloween!My family and I have all purchased things from one-step ahead, and in the past were very pleased. However this situation is different. I would not recommend this costume to other customers, nor would I purchase another one in the future!

I was completely disappointed with this product. Not only did it not come with the collar that was shown, the PLASTIC snaps do not stay snapped and the seams are already ripped in some spots. I have an average sized 10 month old son and he barely fits into this costume. It's very cute, but I would not recommend this to anyone.

I have to say I am extremely disappointed in this costume. I've been getting this catalog since before I had my son and this was the first purchase I made. The costume is very poorly constructed, seams are weak, and there are a couple of tiny holes. In addition the inside of the costume is very rough. Even if you wore a layer beneath it, it would be very scratchy. I am going to send this back. I'm not sure if I would buy anything again from this catalog based on this purchase. I can't see how they could sell this poor quality to children and the price is ridiculous. I went to [...] in Dallas and found the cutest, well made, comfortable costume for only $5 more!

The costume it cute and cuddly, but I had to return it because it didn't fit. My 15 month old son was too big for the costume. I bough 12-24 mon expecting it to fit. If you are buying this, buy up in size!

While the body of the outfit is just about right for its 6-12 month size, the neck opening is comparatively very small (especially given that my baby's head is on the small side, percentilewise) so the neck fits very tightly. The fur keeps coming off in little clumps, and the snaps came apart from the material when I tried the outfit on my son.
I may return it if I'm able to find another costume at a local store.

I was very disappointed with this costume. It arrived with several snaps missing, and then when I tried to use the other snaps they came off or did not close. The costume was WAY TOO SMALL for my child, even though he fit the description for the weight, height and age. Overall poor construction, I had to return it.

THE PRODUCT WAS NICE HOWEVER BEING A WORKING MOM I WASNTED NOT TO HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT GOING TO THE STORE FOR A COSTUME SO I ORDERED IT HOWEVER I WAS UNHAPPY BECAUSE AFTER ALL THE WHOLE REASON I ORDERED IT ON LINE WAS THE CONVENIANCE. This costume was soft and my daughter loved it. but it didnt fit her. the sizing ran small. we couldnt get the snaps to snap cuz it wasnt long enough. If it wasnt too small we would of kept it. My daughter isnt big either. shes pretty small. shes 2 yrs old and 22 lbs. i wish it would of fit her. If the sizing was right i would of gave 5 stars:)

my son is small for his age, and the size ordered to fit him didn't come close to fitting! also was missing collar, one mitten was detached, and the seams were splitting before i even attempted to put it on him. there were a lot of loose threads and the fabric shedded horribly!

So many of the snaps came loose right away that I decided to replace them all. The neck opening of the body is much larger than that of the head/hat, so the two pieces don't line up properly. One of the paws is much larger than the other.

The size was extremely small. I ordered the 12-24 month for my 16 month old and the costume didn't even come close to fitting him. My child is not very big. The problem was with the length. This costume was extremely short for such a wide range. I was very disappointed. I most likely will not purchase my next costume from your catalog

This product was a terrible fit. My son is 13 months old and small for his age. I bought size 12-24 months and it was too small. I will be returning it before Halloween and had to purchase another costume.

This costume was not what I expected. The first one that was shipped had the feet sown on backwards. The replacement had a torn seam on the hood and most of the buttons popped off. The third was of equally poor quality.

It is not comfy like it looks. The fleece is very thin. Two snaps have popped off just trying it on. The headpiece is way to small. This product arrived in the mail with multiple snaps already falling of and seams with holes and loose strings trailing behind. I was disappointed with the construction of this costume. Who would even consider putting such a poorly made costume on an active 16 month old to run, jump, and climb in, when it couldn't even stay in one piece straight from the factory?

I was so excited to get my son's halloween costume, b/c this will be his first year actually trick or treating since he's 14 months old. I wanted something cute and comfortable, I saw the puppy and loved it. However when it came I was very disappointed. The material is flimsy, the snaps are falling apart and it just barely fits him and it says it's for 12 to 24 months old. My son is only 14 months old! I won't return it but I know I will never buy a halloween outfit from your catalogue again.

This costume is poorly constructed. Upon opening the package and unbuttoning it; two buttons (chocking hazards) popped off. The tethered paw came off with a tug from my one year old. The fit is awkward; the 12-24 month size is not much longer than the 6-12 month size. The headpiece does not fit my daughter's head and is all but useless.

I was excited to recieve the Cuddly Puppy costume for my son. When the costume arrived it did not include the collar as shown in the picture [...] I was also upset to find many loose threads hanging off the seams of the costume. The final straw before deciding to return the item was when a button popped off after one time buttoning the head piece to the body piece! I returned the item the next day.

This costume was the most poorly constructed outfit (even for a single time use Halloween costume) I have ever seen in my life! [...]The elastic piece holding the shoe to the costume was not secured and one of the paws had a hole in it! The hood looks even too small for an infant head and barely fit on my son's 12 month's average size head and the costume size was supposed to be for a child 12-24 months! [...] I will probably never purchase another costume online again.

I was so excited for this costume. It looked so cute. When I received it, I was extremely disappointed. It was very flimsy and poorly made. There were strings hanging everywhere. It was missing the collar piece and the head piece would not even fit over half my son's head. Maybe I just received a bad one, but I don't think I could recommend this costume.

The costume was cute and well-constructed, but our 15 month old graddaughter, who still fits into some of her 12 month sized clothing, could not fit into it. She is 32" tall and 22 pounds. The costume is billed for 12 to 24 months. I think it should be sized for 6 - 12 months.

This costume is very cute. Watch the sizing as my daugher is 23 months old (and on the thin side) and it really is too small.
There were threads hanging from the garment everywhere and it's not the best construction. Definitely a one use garment.

This product is not smooth at all inside - the patch is very scratchy material. Also, the proportions are very short in the to
