My 14-month-old wore this on Halloween and although he hated the head, it is so cute and so obvious that is was a dragon it didn't matter that he wouldn't wear it. We had so mny comments and the price was so affordable, I was thrilled with it and hope he can maybe wear it again next year.:)

Costume is very durable. My two year old plays in it often. He loves it! The only problem is the head piece - it falls over his eyes. We had to constantly pull it back. Otherwise, it was wonderful! Would definitely recommend.

I loved the costume but on the 2nd time used, it split open between the legs. My son is tall but not big. The costume was not tight on him, either. I was disappointed. My son still asks to wear it so I am going to try to sew it up but am dissapointed considering the cost.

My 2 1/2 year old just loves this costume! My only complaint is it's a little short waisted for him. He might be tall for his age and that could be the problem, but he won't be able to wear it for much longer past Halloween. Otherwise, it is really cute and warm for a breezy night of trick or treating.

I received the costume in the mail yesterday [...] and I LOVE it! My son wasn't so thrilled about putting the gloves or headpiece on though. Cody has a big head and the headpiece was still a little loose, but the body of the dragon fits perfectly. The soles of the feet of the dragon aren't covered like the picture shows, but it's probably better so that the feet don't get dirty from walking while trick or treating. The material does seem a little thin and like it could be torn easily but for the price and only wearing it once, it works. I can't wait for Halloween!

This would've been the perfect costume for my lil' guy and we were so disappointed upon receipt. The head, hands & feet all should've been attached for better fit and to ensure the lil' ones don't remove them. The recommended sizing is way off in my opinion because my son was swimming in this and the size I bought was a large [...]

A great costume at a great price. My son was so excited when the costume arrived in the mail that he walked around the house wearing it and roaring. He's not big on hats, so I love that the head part of this costume is a separate piece. He's already worn the costume twice and it's not even Halloween. It's well made, great material and really colorful.

I love this costume, it is sooooo cute. My son actually likes to put the body on. He doesn't like the head & it's a little big & he just likes to take the gloves on & off. I took him to a local renaissance festival & let him wear it and strangers just loved it. He has brought the costume to me on more than 1 occasion to put it on & it's just the begining of October.

This costume is just as adorable in person as it was in the catalog. The hook and loop closure runs the full length of the opening, so it's easy off and on and cool Midwest October air won't be a bother for my 15-month-old. It was a great value for a full body suit, gloves and a head piece. And it is made of such quality material that I will be able to pass it along for many Halloweens to come!

I just got this costume for my 23 month old son. I looked everywhere and this is by far the cutest dragon costume. The only problem is that the sizing is not quite right. According to my son's weight (28 lbs.) he should be in a L (2/4). After reading the other reviews I decided to get the M (18-24). It fits pretty well, except for the head piece...it's huge! Oh well...I'll try to make it work or he'll still be cute without it.

On the headpiece, where the flaps are joined together with velcro and goes under the chin, that part feels uncomfortable for my son as it has some sharp edges. So I just had to cover it with something smoother. Other than that, it's a great costume.
I LOVE this costume but more importantly my 2 year old loves it. It's so easy to put on, plenty of room to wear clothing underneath (to stay warm), and lightweight.I was concerned he might not wear the headpiece but he loves it! One look in the mirror and he was hooked.

We bought two of these for Halloween for our twins. Right out the box the boys loved them and wanted to put them on! These costumes are SO CUTE! The body length was an issue for us because our boys are long and lean. They are well within the weight range on the label but I'll need to do little adjustment to give a little more space in the body. Other than that we love these costumes. Fabric is soft and brightly colored and looks great on.

At some areas on the gloves the seems were missing. Hard to keep the head on. But everyone loved it. He loved roaring in it. Cheapest costume purchase for how nice it is.

I got this for my 18 month old. It fits well, a little big but I figure by the time halloween comes he'll fit right into it. It's cute and very bight and colorful. Only thing is he takes the head off, which goes around the head like a winter hat and velcro's around the neck. And the gloves/claws of the dragon, isn't wearable for a toddler. They should have sowed them on, not have been another attachment for a squirmy toddler to wear. They wear like gloves but are loose fitting. I'm thinking about attaching them to close-pins so we don't lose them during Halloween. Other than that, it's very cute and already gets attention for a great costume.

I got the costume for my 2year old halloween party and she has worn it everydat since i got it. she loves the gloves and the only draw back is that he fingers do not come through so she can pick things up.

I bought this for Halloween for my 2 1/2 year old. He loves it and wants to wear it frequently. It is good quality and I like how the tail moves as he walks (another reviewer stated this also). I bought the 2-4 year costume for my son who is slim for his age and average height. This costume JUST fits him, hopefully we don't have a growth spurt before Halloween.

This is the cutest hallowen costume I have ever seen. My son is 8 months old and is 27 lbs this costume fits him great. The price isn't bad for what you get.

My child loves this costume, he's not quite 2, but we got a larger than needed size to give him time to wear it and "make believe" even after Halloween. The head is quite large but I think I can safety pin it back to get it snug enough to stay on--right now that's the only thing he's not really keen on. The "feet" are great, they have an elastic strap that secures over his shoes and the "claws" just lay on top of the shoe. We love it!

It is super cute and good quality. My son instantly turns into a roaring dragon as soon as he puts it on (which is everytime he sees it!). Just seeing your child running around, with the tail wagging and the wings flying, is worth the price.

I couldn't wait to try this costume on my son when it came. It is even cuter in person and on. The only problem was that I have a hard time convincing him to take it off, he wants to leave it on all the time even the hat and mittens. It is nice and light weight, which is good for Halloween in Arizona, but would be too cold if we were in someplace like Minnesota for Halloween.

The hood was huge and the mouth part of the dragon sagged too much over his face and it really annoyed him. Kept pulling it off. The feet part was especially big that caused him to walk funny and step on the extra material.
Other then that I think the it was well made.

I can't even think of enough words to describe how cute this costume is! It is so well made, the detail is amazing, and did I mention how cute it is? I bought it large so my son can wear it next year when he's able to walk. It would lose a lot of it's character if he were to wear it this year as a 9 month old--definitely need to be walking to get the full effect of those adorable wings. I just hope all these great reviews don't mean there will be tons of green dragons now at Halloween!

I bought this for my 15 month old son and had to exchange it for a small size. It is interesting that the sizes skip from 6-12 months (small) to 18-24 months (medium). Love the costume otherwise!

This costume is absolutely adorable and my son LOVES it. But it is sized too small. My son is 2. He is big for his age but a 2t-4t should fit with no problems. I bought the 2t-4t and it BARELY fits him. He is almost to tall for it. It is pulling pretty hard on his shoulders. and we will have to pin the hood to keep it from falling in his face. Overall this is well worth the money though.

My daughter is in-love with the dragon in "The Paper Bag Princess" so I was so excited when I found this costume. She wanted to put it on the minute I took it out of the package. It is the cutest thing! the eyes are the best. The fit is really good. It still gives plenty of room for warm clothes underneath. I gave it 4 stars because it is a little short in the torso...but my daughter is very tall for her age so it might be just us. Good price. The felt is not too thin but not too bulky.

My daughter loves her dragon costume! She is 2 and tall for her age and the large just fits her. To fix the issue with the hat that others mention, I stuffed a small kitchen towel in there and that keeps it positioned correctly. This is such an adorable costume. She danced and pranced and strutted in front of the mirror when we tried it on last night. Can't comment on durability since we just got it.

I got this product for my 2 year old for Halloween. I always get it early to get his pictures in it. This year I was not as pleased with the costume. The Head piece does not meet the body of the costume. The lion costume is the cutiest!! That is what I got last year.

We bought this as a Halloween costume for our son who will be 5 months. He's a big boy for his age so we thought the small would fit after reading the size range. He's close to topping out the size chart but the outfit is still HUGE! By Halloween he should be okay in the body but the hat/head piece fits my husband perfectly! We are going to have to modify the head so he can wear it but otherwise this is absolutely adorable!

My daughter couldn't wait to put it on! The minute I opened the box and she saw it, she went nuts! She loves dragons like my 10 year old and she's only 3 1/2. Unfortunately, it's already snug on her so she won't be able to wear it after Halloween. The package says there's an XL size but unfortunately One Step Ahead's largest size was L. The packaging says it fits from 2-4 years but I guess my daughter's a little tall for her age. Other than that, it's a very good quality costume for it's price, unlike those cheapy plastic costumes you would find at most department stores and costume retailers. Very good material!

I went to the costume store first to try on a few before buying online. This one fits him but is a bit big. I would suggest going by the weights instead of the ages like with most clothes.

I bought this costume for my son for Halloween this year, and he absolutely loves it! However, I think that the sizes may run small. I ordered a size large (2-4) for my son, who just turned 3 last month. He is small for his age, but the costume is still pretty tight on him. It is tight in the crotch and doesn't come up high enough around his shoulders/neck, so that there is a large gap where the head piece should meet and conceal the skin around his neck and upper torso. Also, the head piece does not fit well and keeps falling down over his eyes. It really would be a nice costume if it fit right.

When my child told me they wanted to be a dragon for Halloween, I couldn't help but feel disappointed. Most of the dragon costumes we've seen are ugly and a bit scary. Whimsical and dear, this costume is anything but ugly!

I received this halloween costume and I have to say that I am quite disappointed. First, the quality is not as expected, the description of the fabric states "premium plush" and "ultra plush" and in the online photos it appears that it is padded or puffy when in fact it is extremely flimsy. It is sewn poorly, one of the mitts has a hole along the seam. Additionally the sizing is off and is way too big. Also, the hood appears to be attached and since it is not the stuffed portion on the top just keeps flopping forward into my sons face and he has a huge head so I would expect it to fit him. Overall I think the photos and description are misleading.

This costume is great! My 20-month old son loves it! The only concern we have is that it's a bit snug for him, even though we purchased a large. My son is tall for his age and has a long torso, so in hindsight we may have gotten away with an extra large. Otherwise the costume is well-made and ridiculously adorable!

I bought this dragon costume for the look (so cute!) and the price. When it arrived the back closures were ripped, the bottom elastics for the feet were unattached and some of the dragon toes had fallen off.[...] The replacement costume arrived the following week and was in perfect condition. My little guy looks so sweet in this fun little dragon suit - the tail really completes the look[...]

I got this costume a few weeks ago for my son to wear on Halloween. He weighs 24lbs and it already fits him. Only thing I wish was different is that the hat and gloves would attach to it with Velcro.

I absolutely love this costume it looks so lifelike but it says it's for children 2-4 years and my son is 2.5. He is big for his age (tall) but I thought since this was for up to a 4 year old it would fit just fine. He will probably be able to wear it for Halloween but that will be it as when I tried it on him it's just not long enough and is pulling down at the neck. Something to keep in mind if you're considering this costume. His height is 39 inches right now and he weighs 35 lbs.

My 3 year old loves this costume. He's on the average to small side for a 3 year old, and the large fits him just fine. The large has stirrups at the feet, so there's room for him to grow a bit. The headpiece is easy to put on and stays on well. It makes for great princess and dragon adventures with his big sister.

My son will use this costume for Halloween, however he is having a great time wearing it around the house. The head piece is a bit large and falls over his eyes, but I think that the velcro could be moved in to tighten it up. It is lightweight, but roomy enough to have warm clothing on under if Halloween night is cool. The colors are great and the tail and wings are wonderful. I would recommend this costume to anyone.

Love the costume!! My boy is going to be the best-dressed dragon around! The only thing, I went by the sizing chart and my boy measured medium...but the costume was really too long, however it will give a LOT of extra room! I'm just going to pin it up-it will still look great...and at least he can wear it for a long time to come!!
