Our bottle is more like breastfeeding! This revolutionary bottle is more like breastfeeding! Unlike hard plastic bottles, this soft, comforting nurser has a breast-like shape and feel that babies accept more readily. No wonder it's endorsed by medical professionals as the best bottle option for breastfed babies! Ideal for working moms who want to keep breastfeeding, and it minimizes nipple confusion for baby. The lifelike nipple enhances latch-on and features three ducts--one open, two latent--so you can adjust the flow rate. With collapsible walls and a pressure-equalizing valve that minimizes air ingestion. Holds 7 oz.; cap included. Its design is easy to fill and clean. Dishwasher safe.

My daughter loves breastfeeding so much that she didn't want to use a bottle. Since I would like to get away without her every once in a while, I have tried 5 different kinds of bottle/nipple combinations. At last, I tried this one and she will take it. I believe it is because the warm milk warms the breast-like top, making it feel more like me. She even pushes it like she does me, and it didn't leak. It may or may not work for you, but it is def. the closest one I have found to me. Good luck!

I'm sure this is a great bottle; for babies who aren't as hard headed about the bottle as mine. It did leak when my 8month old grabbed it and was fighting with it. I was hoping this would be the bottle he would take, it wasn't. I haven't found any bottle that will work for him.

We tried introducing the bottle to our baby girl at 4 weeks of age. She wanted nothing to do with the bottle. At 3 months old, it was time for mom to go back to work. Our only hope was this breastbottle. Unfortunately, she wanted nothing to do with it. We keep trying every day in hopes that one day she will change her mind, but so far no luck!

Our baby wouldn't take a bottle and we have tried 4 different types of bottles on the market. To be honest I really didn't think he would ever take the bottle but I decided to give this bottle the one last try. I decided to stop breastfeeding him at 7am until he took the bottle and at 1:30pm he finally took the bottle. It took about 4 attempts, once every hour and was very hard because he cried some. I think the key is to warm the nipple and the milk (even if you just pumped it. Make it even warmer! We also feed him in the bouncy chair. We were both there so the idea of the mom being away and letting dad feed, we didn't do. We were also persistant and even when he turned away we followed with the bottle. I was so releived when he took it! It was a big hurdle to overcome. So my advice for others is to be strong, use the bouncy chair, warm the nipple and milk, and persistance.

Like many other exclusively breastfeeding mothers I never even thought of introducing a bottle to my daughter. I work for my husband's veterinary practice and had the luxury of setting up a nursery in my office. My maternity leave lasted all of 6 days before baby and I headed back to the daily grind! She stayed slinged to me and pretty much latched on for the first few months of her life. I became a pro and doing just about all things one handed.

Eventually events started popping up here and there where it would have been nice to go baby free. We too tried every bottle on the market. After tears on both our parts I gave up trying to get her to take a bottle. We either took her with us or declined attending whatever the event may have been. Then I had an unavoidable dental procedure planned when she was 7.5 months old (still not on solids or cups). The breast bottle was our last resort. Like all the other bottles she screamed bloody murder no matter who tried to get her to take ebm from it. In the end I nursed her in the parking lot right before my appt and my mom took her back home and was able to occupy her with fun activities outdoors and she was just starting to fuss when they came to pick me up. The second appt she just came with, and luckily my dentist is a good friend and baby was passed around by the staff and eventually nursed with me still in the chair!

I'm glad many moms had great success with this bottle and I have even recommended it to friends with babies who are reluctant to bottle feed, but for us it was a no go. My daughter is still nursing strong at 3yrs and 2months old and I wouldn't change a thing.

This is the most amazing bottle out there. My baby is now 5months old but at 3 1/2 months I had to return to work. My baby would not take any bottle. I tried at least 6 bottle and different s and she would not take any of them. I called my lactation doctor and she recommended this bottle. I must say my baby took to this bottle right away. This is the best thing since sliced bread... I would buy another if I had to. Great for nursing mom's

Comments about Adiri Inc. Breastbottle® Nurser:

I bought this bottle based on the 20+ glowing reviews from mothers who swore their babies would take this bottle when they wouldn't take any other. I was extremely hopeful it would work with my baby who has refused 5 other types of bottles, but it has not turned out to be the solution I was hoping for. It seems to have a great design and that's why I gave it 3 stars. It's much softer and more pliable than your typical bottle. Unfortunately though, in the end it's still silicone and if your baby is strongly boycotting pacifiers and bottles of any kind, I'm not sure this will be the miracle cure you seek.

This is a godsend. Our baby took a bottle for 3 weeks and then stopped. She simply refused to drink from a bottle for 4 weeks. Finally we heard about the Adiri bottle. My wife went out Saturday morning and as soon as I offered this bottle to our baby she immediately began to feed. It was absolutely fantastic! I don't know what we would have done because we already tried switching bottles, switching nipples, and everything else we could think of. Fantastic product.

After spending so much money on several different bottles and nipples I was hesitant about trying this one. My daughter is 6 months and hates taking a bottle. She would rather not eat. But after reading the reviews of all these different people with the same problem I had, I decided to try it. Last night we tried the bottle for the first time and my daughter latched on immediately. The funniest thing was that she squeezed the bottle like she does my breast. We didn't know wether to laugh or cry. For those who have this same problem know what I'm talking about. Now my husband and I can plan that weekend get away we've been wanting to take.

I spent so much money on every different type of bottle for my 4 month old. He refused every single one. I wasn't going back to work, but I wanted an occassional night out and I didn't feel comfortable doing so until I knew he would accept a bottle. My pediatrician mentioned that one of her other patients tried the breastbottle nurser with success. I was skeptical but I read all of the reviews and thought it was worth a shot. My four-month-old son has never taken a bottle, and we had tried them all. I decided that this bottle was worth a try if it meant that we could finally leave him with his grandparents for the evening and have some adult time. I got it today and my son took it immediately! I am utterly amazed! In fact, when I had to let go of it to answer the phone, he grabbed ahold of it and continued to feed himself. He drank a full four ounces and is now napping peacefully without any gas or spitting up.

I started breastfeeding from day one and was not working so feeding him that way was no problem. Although, once I started working I was worried that he wouldn't eat as well has he does with me. Because I was returning to work after 14 weeks, I got my son used to one bottle feeding per day starting at 8 weeks old. We used the Playtex Ventaire bottle once daily with no complications. Of course, he preferred Mommy's breast. When I returned to work, he stopped eating from the Playtex bottle. My mother ordered this bottle and like magic - he's eating again! Thank goodness! It's definitely like the real thing, too bad it's not flesh colored -that would make it even more believable.

It is somewhat difficult to figure it out, but once the baby gets used to it you can move on to other easier to use bottles. I only recommend it as a starter to make the transition to regular bottles easier. It's way too difficult and inconvenient to use if you're going to use them for an extended period of time.
