These are good to help prevent pinched fingers on our 2 sets of bi-fold doors in the hall areas. Our doors are a little thick, so moving them back and forth is not as smooth as I hoped, but of course I'll work with it to keep my toddler's fingers safe... :) I also like that you can't really see that they are even on the doors!

As long as I remember to slide this handy gadget into place I no longer have to worry about the many bi-fold closet doors we have in our house pinching little fingers, or getting access to things in the closets.

All of my daughter's project supplies/toys are stored in shelves (built by dad) in her closet and she has easy access to them...which wasn't a problem until she woke up one morning wanting to make a surprise project for mom/dad, with glitter!!!! We expected a big mess, but she was very organized about it...THIS TIME. Locking it sometimes just seems a better route to go :-) and this device works fine.

Fits right over the top of the door. I use it on my laundry door which is in the kitchen area. Perfect!

Works like a charm for cheap! I FINALLY don't have to clean up my 2 year old's room constantly. She used to empty the closet whenever she got up, now there's no way for her to get in. You don't even notice these at all. They have a little stick on them, but if you're tall enough you don't need to use it. They also keep little fingers from getting pinched.

I bought the Bi-fold door lock for out bathroom closet. It works very well and no matter how hard my 18 month son pulls on the door he can't get it open and he is very strong. I would recommend this product to anyone with bi-fold doors who want to keep little ones out.

When my son started climbing out of his crib, this product eased all my worries of little fingers getting stuck in the closet door. Also - I can keep things out of his reach by putting them in the closet. Wish I'd found these for my older son!

So simple but this really helps us keep our toddler out of the closets and from hurting himself. I do believe you can overdo it with childproofing, but I consider this essential for our living conditions. This has been a godsend since we now have a newborn who keeps us from chasing our toddler around constantly.

I have two indoor cats that like to open closet doors and climb the clothing. These bi fold door locks work great! I am short and can easily reach the handle and slide it to open the doors. It is very easy use and install. It did not really have instructions which was fine for me. For me it was easy to see how to use, however I have a friend who could not figure out what the plastic pieces and platic wand were for and how to put them on, so some may need some detailed instructions.

easily pops off the top of the door if the child pulls on the handle hard enough. It took my two year old about five minutes to show me this was not going to do the trick.
