I make baby food for the week on Sunday afternoon. These make it VERY easy for me to "grab and go" food to take the day care. It goes well from freezer to microwave to dishwasher!

pop open very easily or by themselves when frozen... and be vary careful not to drop them when taking them out of the freezer if i have dropped 10 I only have 3 left the corners break and then they wont close or leave an opening they also leak but it seems weird these are good products just depends if you want to deal with the cons but word of advice do not travel with them they are extremly leaky... ice cube trays are cheaper and i would have rather stuck with those

I like the concept, however, these little cubes do not stay shut in the freezer. I put my ice tray on top of them to keep them closed, so the baby food wouldn't have freezer burn.

I have used ice trays in the past and these individual cubes are MUCH better and easier than that. My only complaint is that they don't stay shut.

I bought this to carry frozen blueberries which I use in my lunch. I thought the cubes would be like rubbermaid products and seal. Instead the blueberry juice was all over everything.

I bought these for the convenience of the separate compartments-I travel a lot. I started feeding my son solids at 6 months and these were not big enough for him. The cubes don't seal tight enough-I did fill them up to the required line. The tray that holds the cubes is not deep enough either. It takes several minutes to put the cubes away because they all fall out so easy. I found the disposable ziplock containers are the perfect size for my son. They freeze well and are great for travelling and can be washed in the dishwasher. I was very disappointed with the cubes but I gave it 2 stars because it's a good concept that can be built upon and because they might be a better size for newborns. I plan on trying to use them for dessert size portions once my son is on to meals.

These are perfect if you want to make your own baby food. The lids prevent freezer burn and food comes out easily by running warm water over the bottom. I love the individual serving sizes.

This item has been extremely convent for taking to daycare, traveling as well as using for evening meals.
I filled the cubes to the fill line and had no problems with the lids coming open when freezing. 1 ounce is small however when my son begins eating more I will have to send extra to daycare with him.
These cubes seem sturdy, stay closed and clean up very easily.
In searching the internet I found that this was the best solution for us and the price was right.
If you would like to make homemade baby food for your child in bigger quantities and store it in individual portion this might be the solution for you.

I bought this product along with a couple of freezer trays to see which would be easier to use. When my daughter first started eating I really liked these cubes because I was only using one cube per feeding. As the months passed and she required more food I found myself using three cubes per feeding and cleaning the cubes became a pain. You also have to take the fill line very seriously. If the food goes even the slightest bit over the fill line, the lid opens. If you are careful to avoid the fill line, this won't be a problem. To be honest, I like the freezer tray molds a lot better then these cubes. I wouldn't recommend this product to a friend.

Although these started off as a great way to store my homemade baby food, after less than a week, they began to crack. I did not use these for long term storage. I simply froze the food until firm then put in freezer bags. Therefore, they did not have long-term exposure to the freezing temperatures. Three of my ten have cracked and therefore are of no use. Cheap ice trays work much better for me.

It's a great idea, but needs a lot of improvement. The plastic is very brittle when frozen and cracks and even breaks when dropped. Also the hinge where it attaches can get torn easily. There is also no watertight seal, so when the food starts to thaw and liquify it can leak if it's not upright.

I love this product! Sure, you could use ice cube trays, but these are neater and much less work. Just fill them up, pop them in the freezer and you're done. When you're ready to feed baby, they go right in the microwave- no extra dishes and they can be washed in a basket in the dishwasher. They hold about two tablespoons of food, which is perfect. I can't find ice cube trays that hold over 1.5 tablespoons. They come with a tray that keeps them nice and neat in the freezer and I make labels with my label maker to keep everything straight.

I have four sets and just ordered more. I have had a couple pop open, but I could see how I caused it. As many have said, don't overfill, but you also need to make sure there isn't food along the edges of the container and that the food is relatively even in the container. Otherwise once it freezes and expands it will pop the container open. I just give it a little tap on the counter to even out the surface of the food and then wipe the rim with a paper towel.

These are great! Much better than ice cube trays because the cubes don't get stuck together like they do when you use ice cube trays and put them in plastic bags. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

These cubes make it so easy to store homemade purees and take out only the quantity I need for each feeding. I already own two trays and I am ordering four more. Each cube is about 1/8 cup (I give her breast milk and two cubes at most feedings based on AAP recommendations). I found that if I tap the cube on the counter a few times to level off the puree, the tops would not pop open as long as I have not filled past the “Max” line. As I said- I already have two trays and I am buying four more- sounds like a pretty good product to me.

I tried using ice cube trays and these, and these win hands-down for ease of use and convenience. There's no trying to get frozen food out of ice cube trays and then pulling the cubes from a bag to thaw in a seperate dish. I just store the food in the cubes in the freezer, and each morning I pull out what I want for the next day and let the cubes thaw in the fridge. Super easy to use, clean and I only had the problem of the lids popping open when I overfilled them.
