This is huge! I did the measurements, but it just seemed so much bigger "in person." It is also (no offense) not very attractive, with yellow and red footprints on it. It's not something I wanted to just keep out between meals, so cleaning it and putting it away became an extra step in the mealtime process. I think that just wiping up my hardwoods was easier than dealing with this thing. I only used it for a few weeks before I gave up on it. I have it in storage, and will break it out for art projects when my son is a little older. So not a total loss, but I still wish I hadn't bothered.

Much larger than others and also square shaped (opposed to round), has a fabric ribbing all the way around and is considerable larger that past ones I've purchased. Works perfectly under a booster seat at the table.

This product has a great concept however the mat does not lay flat like the picture shown here. It's difficult to roll the high chair on top of the mat.

It does catch spills but it would work better if it was thinker (so it would lay flat like the picture shows) and didn't have the felt edge around it. My son spilled milk and the felt got wet. Overall not the best mat I have seen.

I bought this mat to use under my son's art easel. It provides the necessary coverage, but becomes bunched up when used over a soft surface like a rug. It might be best used on hard surfaces. Overall, I'm pleased to have the mat for my intended use. However, THE CATALOG SHOWS THE MAT UNDER A HIGHCHAIR. I DO NOT THINK IT WORKS WELL FOR THAT PURPOSE. The mats I use under my children's highchairs are actually smooth office floor protectors designed to help a chair roll under a desk. The floor protectors are very rigid, never bunch when walked on, and can be mopped. Of course, these office chair guards are much more expensive than this mat...but I think the mat is better for lighter use. I would not want to clean this lighter plastic after every meal.

I bought this for our dining room. We just moved into a new house that has carpet in the dining room. I kept having nightmares of red stains on the carpet.The size is generous and its easy to clean. It's pretty heavy and has had chairs dragged over it without any tearing. I have folded it up and taken it to my mothers also...great product, great price and worth every penny.I woyld totally recommend this item. NO MORE NIGHTMARES :)

This mat is great. It is clear, so we leave it under our daughter's high chair, and when people come into the dining room, thy don't immediately look at it. (other brands from other stores have mats that are bright, and draw the eye immediately to the mat). Construction is pretty good. It ripped after well over a year of constant use, so I am going to buy another one! We used this from the time our daughter could sit in a high chair. Messes are a given with a little one, and this helps contain the messes.

This product is sturdy and can hold whatever my one year old tosses on it. It could be a little bigger however, and the cloth border around the edge makes it a little difficult to sweep off crumbs.

Our daughter has just entered the phase where the floor is a great place for food she doesn't like so this mat has been a lifesaver for cleanup. It's plastic so it's easy to clean, and it's oversized so it covers a large area. The only thing I would caution is that you make sure you have a large enough area to put the mat down and if you have to move your child's chair around, you have to pick up the chair and move it or the mat moves all over the place. I'm definitely glad I bought this product and would do so again if I had to make the decision over.
