Perfect for cutting sandwiches fast!
A knife works better!
By Joanne

I thought it was a great idea when I first purchased it because my youngest doesn't like the thick crust of the multi-grain bread I buy. It worked pretty good the first time, but after washing once it doesn't cut the sandwich all the way though. I end up using a knife to cut the rest, even with the other thinner breads. It's a waste of money, that will end up in your junk drawer.

I did not buy this for my kids. I bought this to use when making tea sandwiches for parties, teas, showers and brunches. This is a quick and easy way to get those perfect little sandwiches crust free! Load the bread up with your spreads or ingrediants, line the cutter up, press and you have perfect sandwiches for any gathering!Truthfully, my son stands beside me and begs for the crust. I don't have a picky eater ;)
A great invention!

My 22 month old daughter is a fussy eater, but she loves the crustless PB&J sandwiches that I make with this. I would definitely recommend this product.
good concept, poor results

I have a 14 month old and purchased this item hoping it would make slicing bread a one-step process, but it barely cuts through, toasted or not. This was a waste of money.
Good idea, but......

About Me Grandparent
Even using only one piece of fresh white sliced, soft, bread, and pushing down hard, the bread did not slice as shown in the photo. I had to use a knife most of the time to finish up the cutting and to get bread pieces out of cutter. With two pieces of bread and cream cheese with jelly, the cutting was not any better. However, when I used a knife to finish up, the kids loved the little triangle shapes and called them their mini sammich. Not easy to clean by hand. I have not decided if I would recommend it, maybe?
cuts through very little

This is great for PB and J. It wont' cut through cold cuts. When using tuna fish it squishes all over. If your child strictly eats PB and J it's perfect, otherwise don't bother.
Works really great.

Ok the first PB&J the bread busted and it looked ugly. I didn't press hard enough to cut it so the bread busted and everything gushed out of it. The second looked so much better. So now they all come out perfect. I love it.

I was so excited about this, I was glad it said it would seal the edges becuz that is just what I wanted, but when I tried it I was very dissapointed, it did not seal the edges, AT ALL. I can just as easily cut off the crust and cut into triangles alone. I was so hoping for this to do what it said, I have tried it several times and it hasnt sealed the edges once.
Not worth it

This will not even cut all the way through a sandwich, and when you try to get the pieces of the food apart, it is a mess. I am better off with a knife.

I don't find this hard to use at all, as others have stated. You do have to push down a little harder but that isn't a problem. I really like it.
What Brand of Bread Does This Fit?
By mom in nyc
from new york, ny
Two major complaints with this thing... First, the size and shape don't match the loaves of bread we buy (major brands, 2 in particular). Second, even if I push with all of my weight and twist and turn and really grind into the bread, I have to try to pick the bread out. A messy and ineffective experience.
