This placemat worked well for a while until my toddler realized she could pull it up from the table. The suction cups did not stick very well. But overall it is so much better than the alternative.

This is a fantastic product. I keep this in the diaper bag at all times and use it whenever we go to a restaurant. It keeps food, hands, and my daughter's mouth off of questionable public tables, and the little scoop in the front keeps a good bit of her dropped food from falling on the floor. It even works on airplane tray tables, just wrap it around the back and suction it to the bottom. The only downside is that the suction cups don't stick well to wooden tables, but I have still used it on them anyway. This mat wipes up easily and is very durable. I've used a (plastic) knife to cut foods on it and it still is in perfect condition. I get questions about this all the time from other parents who want one.

These are just perfect for eating out! They roll up to transport and provide a sanitary place for little ones to eat out.

Love the product for eatting out. My daughter is 18 months and loves having her hands on everything. This mat helps keep her sippy cup and plate all in one place and catches everything that misses her mouth!

Fits easily in diaper bag or handbag. Catches most of the snacks that fall off the table and it's big enough to put multiple items on it.

Great placemat at home & for travel. Does stain at times (eg. spaghetti sauce!) but not such an eye sore that I wouldn't recommend it! Catches 'almost' everything from falling on the floor.

I think this is a great idea (and more environmentally-friendly than the plastic disposable placemats), but my daughter NEVER used it, because as soon as I put it down (whether she watched me do it or not), she got curious and pulled the edges right up and then the placemat right off the table! Of course, this is also the girl who cannot use ANY of the suction-type devices, such as dishes that stick to a surface, because she ALWAYS pulls them up, no matter how firmly-adhered they seem to be! So, maybe if your baby isn't as curious or determined to get to things...it might work.

I love this item! My 14mo. old is starting to discover table food. This is perfect for testing real food with her while we all sit at the table together. She sits in a chair that attaches to the table so she really feels like she's one of us. It's very easy to wash and easy to take any where any time. I'm going to order another to keep in the diaper bag. I know that where ever we go her place mat is clean.

This is a great idea! I hated taking my daughter out to a restaurant and trying to hold a napkin or plate to put her food on. This solves the problem perfectly! Kudos from this mom in WV. :)

We use this every time we eat out with our son. Contains the mess and you don't have to worry about your child throwing the restaurant plate on the ground. A must have for parents.

We bought this place mat after a recent trip to the mall food court. The table was so disgusting, and my 15-month-old son was destroying every kind of barrier we tried to put between his food and the table (napkins, sheet of paper, receiving blanket, etc.) This place mat has really eased the gross-out factor of public dining! It has suction cups that adhere to the table surface and they stick pretty well most of the time. We have found that they work best on formica and laminated surfaces, but do not stick at all to wood-grain surfaces. My son can pull the mat up, if he really tries, but usually he is too excited about eating to put that kind of effort into it. When he is finished eating, we just shake out the mat into the trash and then roll it up and stash in the diaper bag. Then, when we get home, I wash it with soap and water in the sink and it comes very clean. It also seems very durable, as my son has sneaked it out of the diaper bag several times and begun chewing on it, but has not been able to tear it. We get comments about it wherever we go because it's such a great way to eat out without fear of picking up something funky from the tables. It's also great because it allows my son to be messy if he wants, rather than smearing his mac n' cheese all over the table top, for example. It goes everywhere with us.

This product came and was exactly as I expected. It is easy to transport as it rolls up neatly and works great for eating out. My son is teething and he loves to chew on the tray part. I reccomend this to anyone who travels or eats out alot. Easy to clean and makes eating out sanitary.

I purchased 3 mats last year for children of 3 daughters. My daughters love the mats as the little ones eat with their fingers and you are sure of the surface when eating out.
