It helps my son and I to keep his room organized. He loves to put the books back when I'm done reading. The only thing to be cautious of is if you child is a climber. The first day I set it up in his room, I turned to do something and when I turned back around to look at him he had climbed all the way to the top.

This bookshelf is awesome. I bought one about 2 1/2 years ago when my daughter was 2 years old, and I just purchased a second one for my son who is 18 months old. It holds a ton of books, and has stood up to the abuses of two young children, no problem. I have even found my son climbing it and it did not tip over! I would highly recommend this product!

Thins shelf was affordable yet very durable and trendy. I was able to display several (~30) books in the classroom for students to browse. I love the nuetrality, stability, versatility, and easy assembly. Took me only 15 minutes to assemble and is sure to last a long time. Great for multiple classroom uses and in a childs bedroom.

My daughter absolutely LOVES this bookshelf! From the minute I set it up she has been putting books in and taking them out, and i mean constantly! She already loved to "read" books but her play area has become the area in front of the sling book shelf. At 16 months she can reach the top shelf as easily as the bottom, and compared to her last bookshelf (which we have since gotten rid of) she can actually see the fronts of the books and pull them out without any help. We bought one a month ago, and have told all of our friends with children about it. We now have one in our living room and one in our daughter's bedroom. Not only that, but both Grandmothers now have one at their houses for when she visits! We have also bought one for two friends' children who love them just as much as our daughter. One of the best children products on the market!!!!

Just received the book sling and what a wonderful
product! It was easy to put together and my daughter loves her books and now they wont be laying all over the floor and easy for her to get to. My daughters room is small and it fits very nicely,not too big.The assembly was quick and easy and I am very happy with it and this can be used for years to come and grow with your child and show the importance of books at an early age.

This book shelf works perfect for the type of books I bought it for - those large, but thin paperback [...]books. This type of book has no spine, so they are difficult to find on a traditional book shelf. On this sling bookshelf, you can see several titles at once and fit even more behind those.This book shelf does not work well for board books (which slide down in the pockets out of sight) or thicker, hardback books (the shelf would only hold a few of those).For the price, it is a functional and attractive enough piece of furniture. I have found it to be a very useful part of my children's library.

This is a great product. I have started giving it as gifts to others. My daughter loves her books. Even at 12 months old, she would take out a book and sit and read it or bring it to us to read. I truly believe this has helped her love of books.

what a great bookshelf! our 21 month old is a book lover and a big time organizer. this shelf makes him so happy b/c he can see all of his books in a neat manner! my only peeve is that i wish it held MORE books! we have it jam packed (the kid has A LOT of books!!) it's perfect for his height and it's very sturdy. he can stand on the base and it doesn't flip over. GREAT PRODUCT!

I bought this for my daughter b/c of the easy access to books. I wanted to make sure that she could find a book any time she needed to without the worry of her climbing on a regular bookshelf or having to stand on a stepstool. It's a really great size, perfect for small children. Well made too. The books stand out and become the focus of attention and the sling bookshelf kind of fades into the environment. The books are brightly colored and add color and interest to her room. A HUGE thumbs-up!

This sling bookshelf is GREAT! My daughter loves it! She is only 15 months old, but has learned to pick out a book and bring it to mommy or daddy to read. At first she loved to pull the books out for us to read and did not put them back, but with a little positive clapping and coaching, she now loves to put them back in it after we have read the book to her. This bookshelf is the best item I have purchased since I had my son. He loves his books more than his toys and this bookshelf makes it so easy for my 17 month old to grab and read whatever books he wants, when he wants. I love this bookshelf so much I am buying another one for his playroom and also buying one for Gramma's house too!

Typical bookcases caused more grief than enjoyement in our household because my toddler would pull all the books off the shelf. With this great bookshelf that isn't a problem and we can keep all his books organized and handy. I am going to order a second one for my younger son's room too.
