      My daughter loves this mat and all of its crinkly parts, but I am afraid to leave her on it. She rolls over both ways now and pulls the mat on top of her because she holds onto the attached toys:/ Not good. I still use it, but I have to watch her closely. Keep that in mind if you're looking for something to entertain them.

      Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

        This play mat/activity mat has great graphics and tactile features for both visual and tactile stimulation. At 2 months, my little one was a bit too young for it, but now at 3 months he is starting to respond to the stimuli. However, it is best suited for older infants who are able to hold their heads up while on their tummies for long periods of time or sit up without assistance. The mat washed very well in a gentle cycle in the washing machine but don't forget to remove the mirror first!

        Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          I washed this mat before using it. It said machine washable, but the krinkly parts in some of the pannels broke apart and rolled up inside. I don't really like the fabric used for the red part of the mat. I do think that my yongest is going to like it as she grows more and has more tummy time.
