This product is overall very good. It holds my baby's attention (she is currently 10 weeks old) when I need it to! In otherwords, she cries less in the car! The picture cards are of good quality, but the velcro that the product comes with to attach to the seat is sticky (goopy) and gets all over your hands and doesn't seem to work. We had to cut two holes in it and thread some rope through it. The other thing to think about is that it is plastic and in a hot car in the summer the plastic softens and warps. But, perhaps oddly, I would recommend this as it helps with visual development and can help a baby cry less when in the car.

The velcro mounting strip on the back of the item fell off after 24 hours in the car. I solved that problem with 3 staples. Looping the other straps around the headrest was awkward and made the top two pockets difficult to access for changing the pictures. Otherwise, my son loves to look at the images and I plan to put pictures of people, like his Grandparents, in the pockets when we're going to visit. I also hope to add number and letter cards when he gets older. Good concept, poor design. For the price, a bit of creativity can overcome the obstacles.

The best part of this item are the flash cards that are double sided and vibrant in color contrast. I expected a quality product only to get this poorly made hard to hang up product. Not worth what I paid, for 5 bucks sure!

The gallery is a great idea, and my 12-month-old daughter likes to look at the pictures and name them. However, the velcro pads that hold the strap on constantly fall off, and the gallery keeps falling down.

I bought this for my one-year-old after reading the other reviews. He is still rear-facing in his carseat. I thought he would enjoy looking at it. It really doesn't hold his interest. He wants to it tear it off the seat and take out the cards. He does like looking at some of the cards in his hand, but they bend and rip easily. I would definitely use this for infants to look at, but put it away after that.

I ordered this product for our long car rides to the grandparents house. I was disappointed when I received it because the package was marked 0-12mo and my daughter is 10.5 mos. I thought it would be too simple for her and she would outgrow it quickly. I almost returned it, but after I showed it to her she went crazy and started "talking" to it! She went on and on about each picture as I showed it to her and was entertained for quite a long time. I am excited to go on a long trip now and I think the interchangeable picture pockets will keep her interested. I plan on using flash cards or photos in the pockets as she gets older. Plus it doubles as a seat protector for her feet! The attachment is very simple - just hook and loop tape and works with or without a headrest. I wonder how the plastic will hold up in the heat of the summer? (p.s. the plastic smells horrible when you open it but it goes away quickly)
