I bought this for my three year old son, who loves to be able to reach everything and see everything that is going on while I am working in the kitchen, and also needs a stepstool in the bathroom to reach the sink. We both love it - it's very solid wood construction, it has very attractive designs of some of his favorite items (fire truck, airplane, etc.) and it also has a small storage area. It's a little too heavy for him to move around on his own, but that's because of the fact that it's wood and very solid construction. It's been a nice addition to our home, I recommend it.
