The main thing is the reaction of my kids, and both my boys love this thing... it is pretty cheap, the ruler doesn't fold all the way in for some reason, but my boys are crazy about it, which is all that matters right? =)

My 3-yr old loves to help his dad "work on things" and this tool was a great addition to his stocking this Christmas. There are a few smaller pieces, so not for younger children. My 3-yr old likes to look at all of the various tools that are on it and really thinks it is real.

This was a gift for my 2 yr old. I realize that the description has the dimensions on it, but this thing is a lot larger than I thought. I was okay with it being larger than a real knife to accomodate little hands, but this will not even fit in his pocket. It has 3 little pieces that come apart really easily. It was a nice idea to give the little guy his very own knife like dads, I just wish it was better made.

We got this for our son for Easter this year. He is 2 1/2, so we haven't shown him that the screwdriver bits come loose, obviously for safety reasons. But, this toy was by far the favorite! It was a nice quiet toy to keep him entertained.

This toy is making Santa's elves look bad. We bought two of these for my boys' stocking stuffers (ages 5 and 3). They are falling apart already and my kids aren't overly hard on toys. It's a great concept and they like playing with them, but soon they will be in the garbage because they are just falling to pieces - literally. So if you don't care about wasting money then it's a great toy for the time being, but I personally hate spending money on something that falls apart within a week.

My husband has one so my son needed one and he loves. This is a great toy but the belt clip broke the second time we tried to clip it onto his pants. Also it's pretty thick - about 1.5 inches and I did not expect it to be that big when I ordered it. It does have small parts so it's NOT suitable for small toddlers.
