We purchased this MP3 player months and months ago and it is still a huge hit with both our just-turned 1 year old and our almost 3 year old. I have purchased two more for friends children and our Nanny said, "Where did you get that toy? I'd like to get one for my granddaughters." So we got one for her too. It's not annoying to listen to for mommy either (like I don't want to chuck it out the window after hearing it 500 times)! Fun little tunes! Very happy with it. Buying one for my nephew right now.

Q:
How long is the auto shut off feature? How long will it play before shutting itself off and can you adjust the amount of time for this feature? Does this only run on batteries or is there an AC adapter available?

  While in the Docking Station the auto shut off is about 3 minutes. Out of the docking station the player stops after every song. There is no way to adjust the auto shut off time. The Toy MP3 with docking station only runs on batteries.

  Kidz Delight Toy MP3 with Docking Station has 24 pieces of music that are split into 8 musical styles: lullabies, classic music, rhymes, jazz, R&B, disco, latino and Rock n Roll. There are no vocals on the music. It has more of a techno or polyphonic sound.
