    When i got my first one it would NOT hold the magnet. Whatever you would write would just disapear whithin a few seconds. The Company was GREAT! Called and they sent another one right away, no fuss. But the second one still, I feel, does not hold the magnet like it should. My 18 month old LOVES it. She always sits down with it and plays it. I just wish that when you write that it would show up better. I would give One Step Ahead a five Star for customer service.

      Screen is very poor quality. When you draw the line is faint and slowly starts to fade before you are finished drawing. The nob that you move to erase the board gets stuck often and does not allow you to draw in the area where it gets stuck. Wish I would have read previous reviews. Sounds like a common problem. I returned it.

          I purchased this for my 2 1/2 yr old and I am not happy with it at all, the images on the board fade away after imprinting them or writing on the board. It is a good idea but it needs to be made better. Bottom line I would not recommend.

          My 26 month old loves to play with this, but some of the magnet shape pieces are hard to pull out to use, even I have to work on getting a good grip to dislodge them. It's also a bit light for my taste, but my son loves it and that's what matters. :)

            I first ordered this and received it broken - the eraser didn't work. OSA promptly sent me a new one - great customer service. However, on the second one they sent the drawing doesn't last more than a second - and then it just disappears. The magnet stuff in it just doesn't work. I liked the cushion lap desk bottom and the cute animals magnets - but they are useless since the design they imprint fades away in a half a second. Overall a terrible toy. Save your money and buy something else!

                    I was disappointed that the pictures/drawings don't stay on the screen area. It's not very dark and it disappears before even being erased by the erasing device. It's a very good idea which is why I bought it and my 22 month old likes it though so I can't totally put it down.
