Touch and Feel Flash Cards

Item #: 15112

See, touch, feel, learn! These multi-sensory flash cards build vocabulary and early academic skills. Kids love experiencing the varied textures (a fluffy puppy, scratchy broom, bumpy alligator), and as they explore, they learn. The back of each card features talking points for parents, plus fun activities that reinforce each lesson. At 5½" square, these cards are very big and sturdy. Each set comes in a rugged storage box with hook and loop closure. Choose ABC, First Words, Colors and Shapes, or 123. For ages 2 and up.

Comments about Alex Touch And Feel Flash Cards First Words:

I was expecting them to be made with a much more durable thicker cardboard and with a stronger sensory touch area for each card with a larger area. The texture areas are small and thin not giving a good feeling for the texture.I'm quite disapointed with these.

Comments about Alex Touch And Feel Flash Cards First Words:

"Multi-sensory" is the key to this item! Not only does it allow the child to feel the item, but it keeps their attention on the item/word, making it more interesting and likely to remember. A great gift, I will need to send my grandchildren the other sets.

Comments about Alex Touch And Feel Flash Cards First Words:

I liked the cards, but I had bought them for my autistic son, and young 9 month old. I felt the back of the cards was too complex and would have been better if kept simple meaning more first words instead of questions. I understand the engaging concept, but with only 12 cards I would have liked more words.
