I honetly do not know if I would have been successul in breastfeeding without this lanolin! In the beginning, breastfeeding can be painful until your nipples get used to it, and this product was a huge help with protecting and healing my nipples when applied after feedings. I had a tube of it next to my bed and a tube on the end table by the couch so it was right within reach to apply after feedings. It was also a great help in preventing friction irritation from pumping when I went back to work. I can't say enough good things about this product. It's smooth, soothing, goes on very easy (unlike some other lanolin products in purple tubes that begin with L)and is safe for baby so you don't have to worry about washing it off before the next feeding. Highly recommended!!!

After having problems with my son latching on, my friend purchased tender care for me. With just the first application I started to feel relief from the soreness. The only problem I had/still have is that it leaves my skin greasy and my son refuses to latch on until I have cleaned it off.
