This is something my kids don't mind wearing outside. Whether we are going grocery shopping or playing outside, this is a must for my kids. It washes well! Some hats can make my kids over heat, especialy in our desert. With these hats, this is great for humid days, as well as dry heat.

bought a size small for my nearly 2 year old. it's got just enough elastic to stay on her head without being too tight and there's room for her to grow. my daughter seems comfortable in it and i feel better knowing that it will keep the sun off her face, neck and shoulders.

The sun protection is great and the flaps cover a large area. The hat does fit small even when I followed the measurements recommendations.

This fit my baby's head very well and the adjustable band helped to secure it. Gave good sun protection for the neck and the brim of the hat was good for the eyes and most of his face. Very light weight and seemed to not make my baby's head too hot which was great.

Great hat, very cute. The monogram monkey is way off center which is kind of irritating.

My son does not mind this hat. It looks strange, but protects him very well on the beach. The flaps also protect the sides of the face.

This hat is so adorable! It blocks the wind and the sun at the same time. My son doesn't always like to have it on, but appreciates it when it is sunny or windy during softball and baseball games. He has a smaller head for his age so the small size fits him very well.

Wanted to love this but it runs very small, barely covers the head and the front flap is also very small.

Great Hat. Has a nice soft band of terrycloth around the circumference of the head to keep it on and help keep head cool. Great coverage!

I like the idea of covering up as much as you can, and that's why I was really happy to find something like this hat. However, this hat runs small and it doesn't stay on. Honestly it's not very attractive, either, when I finally have my little wears it. Looks kind of silly.

I bought this hat for my large 22 month old (large size fit great) hoping he would actually wear it and he did. He really asked to wear it. It stays on even with a bit of wind and it is apparently comfortable. I am buying another to replace the one we lost. Added bonus: the pictures of him in it are precious.
