Comments about Summer Infant RayShade UPF 50+ Stroller Shade Black:

I bought this for my mom who is watching the LO during the day. The shade on the stroller was just not enough to protect from the sun so she had been looking for a stoller umbrella. I found this online and she really likes it.

No, there were no instructions included, but it was pretty easy to set up by just following the shape and making the velcro straps work for your stroller.

Gramma texted me after a week of use - "I really like that sunshade for the stroller".

Perfect! My 11 month old daughters feet are always in the sun, and I always have to put a hat on her, even in the stroller. We purchased this right before we spent an entire day at an amusement park in 90 degree heat. It was very easy to put on the stroller, no directions needed. I didn't have to put a hat on her and I didn't have to worry about her feet. She was COMPLETELY shaded. It is a bit unstable if you are walking against a gust of wind but other than that, no problems.

Comments about Summer Infant RayShade UPF 50+ Stroller Shade Black:

This shade was exactly what I was looking for. It got here in time for 4th of July and we were outside in scorching sun for several hours. The shade covered the entire "cockpit" of the stroller, so I was confident that along with her sunscreen, hat and glasses, that she was not getting over-exposed.

I could not install it. My daughter had to do it for me. I have not taken it outside with the stroller we installed it on but it looks like if the wind blows it will not be sturdy enough to stay in place.

Comments about Summer Infant RayShade UPF 50+ Stroller Shade Black:

This shade is great. I use it on our single stroller, double stroller, and even on our umbrella strollers. I just ordered another to be able to use on more than one stroller when out with multiples. It easily attaches to each stroller with four attachment points. It is big enough to really provide shade for the child. It folds up pretty small and includes a carry case that easily stores in the bottom of a stroller, in the car, etc. I would recommend this to anyone.

We are a fair skinned family who just can't take the sun, but I hated not being able to take the kids out to things just because of the sun. This is the second of these shades that I've purchased, not to replace the first, but to use in addition to since I have two kids, going on three...a third might just be in our future...

Our double stroller has a small canopy in front and a non-adjustable canopy in back. The ray shade solves both of these problems. We attached one on the front and one on the back. They work great and are easy to assemble and disassemble. The only downside is that they don't stay in place very well with a strong headwind which we have a lot of where we live. I think if I use a couple of clothes pins for extra reinforcement this problem may be solved.

The shade is a very good product. It completely covers the stroller and my child. My only comment is that although it seems very straight forward, directions on how to attach and fold would be very useful. I know every stroller is different, but basic set up and fold away instructions and pictures would go a long way. I had to look at several pictures on line, just to get some idea of how to put it on correctly.

Needed something to keep the sun out of my daughter's eyes since the shades on both her strollers are not adequate enough. I initially tried a clip on shade which did not work as intended. Thankfully, this product did the trick! It's easy to use, and best of all is long enough to protect my daughter from the sun.

The non-bulky design and the hidden pockets on the sides are an added bonus.

Once you figure out how it works, (no instructions) it is really easy to use & stow. With my first child I bought a similar item that had plastic clips that when she got older she gave a quick tug & snapped. This one has nothing breakable. I do wish it was more convenient to semi-permanently attach to the stroller. This one has to come off every time you fold the stroller so it tends to get left behind. It also has some downfalls when it is very windy. Strong wind tends to blow it up like a kite. It does have GREAT coverage. In normal circumstances it blocks all the bright light from my newborns face!
