Comments about Sozo Wee Block Wee Wee Man:
This item is alright...it was hard to keep in place try to change diapers. It feel off more than it stayed on. But when it did stay on, it was very asborbant. I ended up just switching to a cloth diaper or a washcloth which was easier to keep in place since it was larger.

Wasn't practical for us

We got two of these for our first baby boy, thinking that they were the greatest invention ever! :) Unfortunately, they just didn't work for us. We thought that they were for hose-spraying "prevention" and not just for emergency blockage. If you just "set it" on your little guys area, it will not stay on, it is very lightweight and will easily roll right off in one direction or another. The only way to make it stay is to actually hold it there yourself. Now, since you can't change a diaper with one hand, the only time that you could reasonably use this is if he started spraying away and you quick grabbed it to "deflect" lol. For us, it just didn't work for that purpose. It is much faster and made much more sense to us, to simply cover the area with the diaper instead of trying to grab this contraption. Plus, the one time that we did use it, it just re-directed the urine stream so that instead of shooting straight out, it just ran down both his sides. So unnecessary and a complete mess. I wouldn't recommend this. If you are new to changing diapers, place the clean diaper underneath your baby's bottom before removing the dirty diaper. That way, when you do take off the dirty one, the clean one is already in place and it makes diaper changing a 2 second (rarely enough time for accidents) ordeal. :)
Doesn't stay on well.

When you have it on the baby and he starts moving it easily falls off. It's like you have to hold on there which makes it a pain. It should allow you to be able to use both hands when you are changing the baby. It is too bulky.
Makes diaper changing less intimidating!

This is one of our favorite gifts! We love it because it keeps us sane when diaper changing can feel so monotonous and sometimes downright dirty! Our only complaint is that it doesn't stay on well but hey our little boy is a wee-wee man so at least it catches the majority and gives us comic relief!
Finally, no more showers!

The Wee Block has been great! I got one of each, for home and to go. Much better than using a washcloth because it's so absorbent, virtually no mess if there's an "accident" during changing, and keeps baby happy because he doesn't get wet! Washed with regular laundry easily. Only downside is if you have a kicker, it's hard to keep in place. I definitely recommend getting at least a few of these!

Cool Idea, but never really used it

It is a cute gift, if it stayed on by it self it would be better. I found the diaper under the diaper method to be much more effective.

Its witty, just not too useful

I received these at my baby shower, and I was SO excited by them. But actually using them seems just redundant to me. I have to remember to use it every single time, and if I don't reach for it fast enough, he pee's anywhere anyways. If I catch it midstream, it doesn't absorb anything, it just goes out the sides. Its still cute though lol
It passed the test on the first day!!

Very useful. The first time I used it I placed it on him, went to reach for a diaper and found that it was wet. Very absorbant.

I really like this product. My little man always seems to get me when I am putting on his butt paste so this really helps.
Not worth buying

Doesn't stay in place during changes. I used this product once and decided I needed a better solution such as cloth diapers which I am still using and they work great.

The Wee block is a fantastic product. We used several things with my older son, and nothing worked as well as this. It actually got more absorbant with washing, and it has held up through several weeks of laundry cycles so far. I am going to buy some more. And the humor of the patterns is great fun to boot!

We were given this product as a gift for our baby boy and we thought it was just a gimmick but we really love it! My son seems to love to play target practice so we plan to buy more! Signed, Dry in Richmond
