We use this to block off our playroom from the rest of the house. I'm very happy with it - it's strong, I like that the mesh panel lets light through (and lets me see through it), and the pattern on the covering actually looks pretty good with our living-room decor. It's a little high for stepping over, and some paint is chipping off the door frame where the gate is attached. But I don't think those issues could be solved without going to a more expensive, less flexible barrier. I haven't had to use this one elsewhere, but I love knowing that I have the option of moving it around easily.

This gate is wonderful! We bought 2 other (more expensive) gates before this one and they fell apart. We are using at the bottom of our stairs and it is nice and sturdy. I would highly recommend this product!

We purchased this for travel and it may work well if you are using in your home but it's not a travel gate solution. It's heavy, doesn't fold up easy, is cumbersome and didn't fit a doorway well. It's just not the right gate if you need to take it with you.

This gate was just what we needed. Our old house has some really large doorways with uneven frames and this fit perfectly. Set up was very easy and unlike some other gates we've tried little one couldn't budge it.

I have been using this to contain my dogs on the side walkway on my House.
Simple,works great. Very sturdy when in place.

I ordered this gate for our stairs in the basement. It works great because of the expandable option which prevents holes in the wall. The downside is once I discovered the product name, I found that I could have received this from other websites for less.

We are using this gate for our daughter. She is just learning to crawl. The hate will even keep our St. Bernard off of the stairs! My only con was it was opened before. The gate still looked almost new. We are happy with our purchase.

We have had this gate for going on 4 years now and we LOVE it. It tightens up great even on the uneven surfaces. My kids can hang on it, run into it and my oldest even climbs over it and it's never come loose. It's not recommended for stairs but that's how I've used it and I've never had a problem. It's such a breeze to put up and take down. I'm ordering another to use on my toddler's bedroom door at night so he won't wonder throug the house.

This gate is great for untraveled areas. But do not buy this gate becuse you think it may be easier to use ( & less expensive!) it is very hard to put up & take down. So, if you are planning to use this gate in an high traffic area where adults frequent... I would seriously look at a different product!

my space is 5' wide. the max this extends is 5' so it doesn't have much tension. Also, when fully extended (or extend to 3/4 overall length) the tightness makes it twist so it's difficult to put straight in the space.

This item would be very good in a smaller space (around 38" to 50" maybe). Good price for a gate.

I bought this gate to close off a living room as a play area for my baby and it does just that. It was easy to assemble and looks like it is pretty portable as well. The only thing is that it is better suited for the wider openings since the fabric bunches up on a more narrow one. Overall the gate looks good and I am happy with the purchase.

We have a space at the top of our stairs in the landing that was wider than most gates. This is perfect for a wide space and cost much less than others we found. Wish we could open and close it, but I am able to step over. Probably why it costs less but does the job.
