Have a minivan and this shade keeps the sun out of my granddaughter's face and she can't pull it off! Could be a little wider, but have tried others and so far this is the best quality.

I loved this product at first, but the first time we tried to retract both shades by pushing the red button, they would not retract. We had to push them multiple times just to get them to retract even a little bit. After a few uses they will not retract at all....which defeats the purpose of this product. One Step Ahead is working with me though to resolve the issue.

I bought this after reading all the safety reviews and thought this was great for my 22 month old daughter. The price was even better. HOWEVER it broke within three weeks of installing it. My daughter had the sharp metal rod in her hands. I don't recommend this for any child who is over the age of one.

These shades are very easy to put up, and they stay in place well. I wish they were a bit longer because they only cover a small portion of the back, side windows.

These window blinds filter the sun without blocking the view. The suction cups hold them securely in place, and when they are rolled up, they are barely noticeable. The retractor button works very well, too!

This is the most durable we have been through a few of these and bigger then others fits on SUV window perfect

As far as holding to the window; the best I have seen. The only issue I have is the shade isn't wide enough to cover the window. I have a Infiniti G35, so not a real wide window but the light comes in through the side.

I bought this product because it looked large in the photo and I was hoping it would cover more of the window. My previous purchases of window shades have all left me a bit disappointed due to lack of window coverage, this one did the same. The bar is large and makes it appear that the shade would cover the majority of the window. Then, you pull the shade down and oops they forgot to install the whole shade!! The shade is not near the size of the bar and leaves less than desierable coverage.
Also, the thing rattles like crazy!! I don't drive an old shakey car, I have a 2008 Chevy Tahoe Hybrid and even in Hybrid mode the darn thing rattles!! I also do not live in the city and drive on freeways, all open, highway roads.
A plus is that the bar is padded and I really do like that!
