Soft but didn't fit

Comments about One Step Ahead Soft Shield Faucet Covers:
This set is super cushy and would definitely do the job IF the fish would stay on our bathroom faucet. Our faucet has a pull-up knob to turn the shower on and off and the fish does not fit well over top of that knob. I finally did pull it on, but then it was a pain to get on and off each time DH or I wanted to shower. The set does seem well-made though!
Just ok

I was able to use the knob covers but not the faucet (fish) cover - couldn't get it on easily enough.I am sure there are better products out there.
Cute Faucet Covers

About Me Grandparent
They are really cute but not sure how much protection they would be if my 2 year old actually hit the faucets. Most of the tiny "beads" inside them are on the bottom and not serving as protection on the top or ends where it is really needed. Whimsical and he enjoys looking at them.
Does not fit all faucets

I purchased two sets, one for my house and one for my son and daughter-in-law's house. The faucet feature fit on my tub, but it was hard to get it on, and the knobs did not fit at all. The covers fit on their tub; however, they said it attracts the baby and she tries to pull it off, which sort of defeats the purpose. It is hard to get on and it gets saturated when you try to run the water.I am disappointed with this product, and feel it is more a safety hazard than safety product.
Nice, soft, & colorful!

About Me First Time Parent
I have a really painful wrist and hands and my right thumb is very weak and this product really helps me with turning the faucet/shower on & off easily. My baby really likes to play with them when bathing but he chews on them a lot and I don't know if it is safe to chew them. They do dry up pretty quickly though. I got it on sale (half off) so I think it was a good deal.
Soft Shield Faucet Covers

The faucet covers are adorable. My daughter loves them! I did read the other reviews so I was prepared that they may not fit on our faucet. Luckily, they do, albeit a tight squeeze. We have an old-school faucet that has a pull-down knob for the shower, so to make the cover work I just have to pull the fish mouth wide around the opening. If you have the kind of faucet with the shower knob on top, then this cover would need to be taken on and off each time you used the shower which might get quite annoying. Overall, I am happy with it!

Fish has to removed to fill up the tub and doesn't really stay on well.
Soft and Adorable!

After reading some of the reviews, I worried the fish might be too small, but then considered my tub faucet probably would be in the medium-size class. Well, the fish is actually on the big side for it! I have to scrunch the fish up a bit to get the spout of the faucet through the opening (it still looks cute). So if I move and have a larger faucet, I don't think there will be a problem. :)The real challenge was getting one of the starfish over the combo hot/cold knob I have (it's the single larger combination knob). It took about 5-10 minutes of persistence the first time, but I did it! (If necessary, I was going to open up the seam and replace the band of elastic with a larger strip, but I didn't have to). Btw, the trick to getting the fish on is to use your fingers to open up the inside (it's a bumpy waterproof kind of material on the inside, holding in a whole bunch of polystyrene beads that puff up the fish) and make a clear path for the faucet. I put it on before my toddler's bath, and then take it off afterwards, rinse the mouth if there's any water stain (I live in a place with old pipes), squeeze it out a little, and hang it up by the tail from one of the toddler pants hangers I have. It dries in less than a day, which is pretty good in the humid environment where I live. I leave the starfish on the handle all the time (it also dries in less than a day), but take it off once a week to wash it out completely.I am so happy that I purchased this set. The colors are even brighter than they appear on the computer. My son loves the fish and the starfish. He loves playing with the water coming from the fish's mouth. The whole set is super soft and very well padded. I love that it's completely washable. I got this on sale, and it was an excellent buy. I'm very pleased.

They're ok

I have an older home so perhaps that is the issue. The faucet covers do not fit my tub fixtures. The fish slides over the spout but with much work invovled. Again, I have an older tub and fixtures so perhaps that is the problem. I did not experience the mold/smell issue other writers have written about.
amazingly soft

it fits our faucet perfectly, not our knobs on the bathtub though. we just bought an older house, so we will be replacing the faucet in the next couple of months when we rodo the bathroom. it's great, the baby doesn't try to take it off at all.
perfect for bathroom

Great design. Perfect for the bathtub faucet. Since it seems wet all the time we'll just have to stick it in the washer/dryer on occasion.
Really Nice

It is very cute and durable. The fish fits my faucet - which has a very weird shape and no other protection would fit. However the water hits the end of the fish and it gets wet every time, eventually it develops a funky smell. I throw flowers and fish in my washer and smell is gone. Now the flowers were not necessary in my tub, so I use it over the handles on my sink. It is the cutest thing, helps protect my son's head when playing while washing his hands, easier to grab the handle, and he loves it.
Great for Fussy Bath Takers
By Raelyns Mom

My 7 month old would try to just about jump out of the tub when I would turn the faucet on when giving her a bath, she was scared of the water coming out of the big silver spout. When the cute yellow and purple fish came I could not wait to try it out, so in the tub she went and when I turned the faucet on she was so fascinated with the water coming from this brightly colored fish. It made giving her a bath ALOT easier. The fish also comes with two handle cover but I do not have those kind of faucets in my tub, but they float and she enjoyed playing with thim in her tub.
Soft and Safe!

These bath faucet and spout safety covers are great! They attach easily over the faucets and even slide over the spout without any difficulty. The cushiony construction pads the bath fixtures very well. And my boys love the cute fish and starfish characters!
