I purchased this back pack for my son, in the giraffe design. We also had it personalized, which looks amazing and was spelled correctly. The back pack is made out of a very durable and strong material. My nephew has gone through so many "cheap" back packs, because they have ripped. I don't foresee this one ripping too easily. We plan to use it for short visits, errands, church, etc. Can't wait to give it to him for Christmas!

I had to get my son a new backpack that wiped clean easily on the inside. Not only does it wipe clean on the inside with no problems the outside cleans up nicely with some scotch guard use initially. Two days after receiving it my 2 yr old wrote all over the front of it with a pen and you would never have known it. It cleaned up without a problem!

I purchased the owl back pack and I also have the matching lunch box! I have purchased many Skip Hop items and I love them all! My main diaper bag is Coach, but it is so big and bulky and I was looking for something quick and easy. This back pack is perfect for on the go moms! Plus, when my son is older he can use it too!

I purchased this backpack, along with the matching lunchbox, for my 5 year old when he started pre- k with the intention of using it for kindergarten as well. It is absolutely adorable, is excellent quality, and he loves it. However, it would not fit his drawings on a standard sheet of paper and is certainly not large enough to hold a standard size notebook or folder. It's a shame because it is so close to fitting by just an inch or so. It is the perfect size for him to manage, but it was basically used to carry his change of clothes and a bottle of water. He still uses it for his treasures, but now that he is starting kindergarten, I am searching for something a little bigger... I wish there was a larger option that would still match his lunchbox as I would definitely buy it!

My son has the monkey. He takes it to school and it is the perfect backpack for little ones. Probably too small for bigger kids though.
