the concept of this is wonderful but one i couldnt even suck anything out of the sippy cup but even when you get something the medicine does not come out. no way my 1 year old could get anything out let alone his medicine.

If you have a child that fights you when taking medicine then this is the product for you! My son is 4 and has never taken medicine well. This cup would have been a life saver when he was younger. Even now it works very well. The medicine does not get deluted because of the seperation from the liquid and you can see how much medicine your child has actually taken.

I purchased 2 of the medicine dispensing sippy cups, 1 for myself & 1 for my daughter for her 18 mo. old. We both found the cup when (as instructions) prepped w medicine & juice tends to leak. Baby rejected multiple times; leaks were messy and we ended up w the usual apple sauce and medicine in the spoon routine!

We ordered this cup for my 22 month old who hates, absolutely hates taking medicine, and we were dealing with pneumonia at the time. I shipped it overnight or 2-day, but discovered that he refused the cup with just plain milk in it (no medicine yet). I thought if my younger son saw the older one drink from it, he might use it (using some competitive drives here), and my older son tried to drink and said it was too hard to get anything out. I tried it myself after that and yes, it's very difficult to suck anything out. We haven't used the cup at all for any purpose. It's just sitting in our cupboard taking up space, unfortunately.

My 18 mth old son will not take medication at all. He hates it. When i saw this cup i was thrilled. But after using it im disapointed in its function. The directions say to fill the cup full of juice or whatever for the medication cup to work. Well after giving my son a full cup of juice and water about 30 minutes later i checked on the medication and it was still full!!! But the juice was gone. He didnt get any medicine. I find it easier to just add it to the juice without the cup.
Kinda bummed.

I was so excited to use this when my daughter got sick because she is a horrible medicine taker. I diluted the medicine as directed but it still would flow. If I'm missing something please let me know. I need this to work! Luckily I put the medicine in a little juice and just gave her a straw. But not my preferred method. If I can get it to work I'll re-rate.

My grandson had his toes cut off in a lawnmower accident and wouldn't take his medication for pain. He was hospitalized for a week due to us being unable to manage his pain at home. We are thankful for the cup because it keeps him from knowing the medicine is in his favorite drink.

Ths product works just like it says, but my son wasn't fooled. :( the medicine goes straight into their mouth and mixes once it's in there, still giving them the initial taste of the medicine. My son is almost four, so he may just be too old to be tricked with something like this! It was a good thought though. We'll save it for the next child and use it a bit earlier and see if that works. For now, we're just better off mixing it right into the juice and having him drink all of that.

This cup was wonderful, until my daughter caught on that her meds were inside. (Nothing seems to cover up the awful aftertaste.) I tried everything to get her to take her liquid meds. It was a twice-daily battle. Often, she'd take them into her mouth and then refuse to swallow for hours on end.

With this cup, she swallowed the meds right away. It worked for a few days. Then, she caught on and refused to drink from it. However, I gave her the option of either plain meds or meds with juice. That worked for about a week, always choosing plain meds. (She only likes to drink water.) Now, we're back to square one.

Although it didn't work for us long-term (because I have a very stubborn child), I'm still giving it five stars. It's easy to use and clean. It's nice to see how much she has left to take, and its design is simply beautiful. It prevented many fights over meds. I was and am still very impressed.

Was very disappointed in this product. My child needs a daily antibiotic and I thought this product would be great. My child couldn't suck hard enough to get the juice/medicine mixture to come out through the silicone stopper on the inside of the cup that prevent spills. I even had a hard time drinking from it. My daughter became very frustrated with the cup and won't drink from it. Total waste of money. Unable to get a refund from the company for the 3 unopened cups that I still have.

This cup worked provided my daughter was willing to drink the beverage I gave her in it with the medicine. The only thing preventing a 5-star rating is my daughter's stubborness and her apparent difficulty to drink from the cup without the medicine cup inside. She hands it back to me with a confused look on her face when the medicine cup is not in there, but has no trouble with it inside..so I don't know what's going on.

This is a great invention! It has really helped my son take his medicine easier. We used to fuss and fight with him to take medicine. Now he takes it without even knowing he is taking it. One of the best products I've ever purchased!

We were disappointed in this cup. Our child requires daily medication and it simply didn't work. I'm not sure if her meds were too thick to work properly or what the issue was.

My son is autistic and we frequently have problems trying to get him to take his medicine. This cup is amazing! He gladly takes his medicine and we know exactly how much he has taken.

You can use the cup as a normal sippy cup as well so they don't associate it as the medicine cup and it is fully leak proof, this sucker rolls around in my handbag sometimes and never a spill.
