I bought these for the whole family to learn simple sign language so we can communicate better with our special needs granddaughter. It was difficult to ascertain which set I was buying because they were not well marked in the catalog. Luckily, we got the right set.

we keep the cards on the table and during each meal we go over them and by the second day she knew over half of the signs. We bribe her to get her to eat a bite between cards she loves them that much.

I really like these cards and find them helpful. The one thing I'd suggest is that there would be real pictures on the cards instead of cartoon characters. It makes it easier for kids to make the connection with real life when pictures instead of drawings are used.

My son is 9 months old. I've been signing off and on for the last few months. I haven't seen any responses for him yet, but hopefully he'll be signing back soon! :) I enjoyed these cards and put them in an album as somebody suggested. They are easy to understand. I may be getting more use out of them myself right now, but hopefully, my son will start learning more from them as he grows older. I thought all of the words/signs covered in these cards were very appropriate!

bought this entire set of flash cards for my 8 month old son. Teaching him sign language is something that my husband and I do to help eliminate fits and allow us to communicate with our son. He can tell us when he hungry and if he wants a bottle. His first sign was 'More', and we are so excited for him to sign more. I think these cards are just what any parent needs if they are looking for a way to talk to their hearing child when grunts just aren't enough. There are also two more sets and a book that aren't offered here, but are part of the set and have been very helpful.

These are very useful for learning basic signs. I picked them up quickly, and my 1-year old daughter is learning them even faster. I bought all 4 sets.

The signs are easy to distinguish and imitate.

I really wanted to introduce my one-year-old to some signs. This pack of flash cards has some great words, but was missing ones like please and thank you. The pictures are great and directions easy to follow, but I found a book that was much more practical to me.

I have a small family childcare that I run from my home. I purchased two sets of these flash cards and made them in a book (one page has both sides of the same flash card). My children began to pick up on the signs easily and my parents were thrilled that their children (especially those under 2 years old) were communicating clearly!

Mealtime, potty time and circle time are so much easier because the children can clearly express their wants and desires and feelings. This is clearly one of the best investments I have made for my childcare! Period!

My little girl started using these cards at about 9 months. I put them in a 4x6 photo album, within a few hours she was repeating the signs to me. She is 2 now and still loves to "read" the book. She is signing much more now and I believe it helps her communicate better and it helped her learn to speak so well. Thank you so much!
