Last Halloween my son was only 3 weeks old so this was his first time to tick or treat and the costume was the perfect choice for his first time out! It was super comfy and didn't require any additional clothing. He doesn't like stuff on his head so the head piece only lasted about 30 mins but even w/o it people still knew what he was and loved his outfit. I especially love the booties w/ the grippers on the bottom. He was able to walk when he wanted and was still comfy. It is a rather warm costume but as soon as the sun set he was perfect, despite the warm TX weather.

This is by far the cutest puppy costume I found and it does not disappoint in that area however, it runs small. My 18mo old IS very tall for his age (36 inches) so I knew the costume was going to be short but, I figured we could work around that. The costume also runs pretty narrow. I think the measurements are probably pretty close so, go by your child's height/weight, not their age. I ended up finding a 3T for my guy that works perfectly for him. Unfortunately, the one we bought here is in the box easy to be returned - ONLY because of size.

Really cute, well made costume! My son is 16 months old, 33" tall and weighs 25lbs, still I ordered the 6-12 month size and it fits great! The next size up would have been too big on him. My only complaint is that the ears are super floppy and tend to hang right in his face versus on the sides of his head.

We'll definitely save this costume for another one of our kids to use! (Hence why we skipped having it monogrammed.)

My daughter is 9 months old, but also in the 93rd percentile for her height and weight. I wasn't sure if I should get the next size up, so I ordered both. Turns out the 6-12 mo is perfect for her.

Also, I returned the other size and the returns were VERY easy.

I bought this costume for our daughter's first halloween and it is adorable! It is lined and fits pretty true to the size chart (I bought a size 18-24 mo for my 9 month old, she weighs 24 pounds), and is easily washable. The only drawback for us is the headpiece is so floppy, she is constantly trying to take it off. I guess this is hard to avoid with the large floppy ears, but it would be nice if we could keep it on better. We just have to use the costume without the headpiece, still cute, but not exactly what we were looking for.
