I set the signs along the long driveway (about 400 feet) to our house to assure that drivers slow down as they approach and leave.

The instructions recommended using stones to weight down the featherweight device. Instead, I stuck one of the markers we use in the winter to show the plow where the edge of the driveway is through the opening on the top and down through the opening on the bottom (which I did not zipper shut).

The markers have a reflector on top, so the signs serve to alert drivers at night as well as in he daytime, although I doubt that the kids will be playing outside after dark.

These pop up signs are fantastic. I got them because I have a four year old who likes to fly down the driveway on his scooter. We do live on a side street but sometimes drivers come flying around the corner and can't see that there are children playing. I put them right in the middle of the road so drivers have to go around them slowly. Neighbors are very accepting of them and are not annoyed. They are happy to be alerted. The signs are very light so you do need to use the sandbags that they come with. I bought two and would recommend people do the same for traffic coming from both directions.

A great product that warns people your children are outside playing. Very visible from at least 100 yards away. I didn't want to tell my neighbors to slow down, but I did want them to know my children were outside.
