    overall I am very pleased with this lion ballpit! my 7 month old just began sitting and has a blast sitting inside and grabbing at all the balls (I also "hide" other toys inside, too).

      Child can sit in the animal and play, or take the balls out and roll them around. Just hours of fun. Very colorful. Tha name on the side is for learning as well.

        Our 6.5 month old received this for Christmas. He is just sitting up; it is a safe place for him to sit and play in the ball pit. His 3 year old sister got in it with him and loved playing with the balls, too. Such a cute product and so useful in many ways: great storage for other toys to hide, empty- the lion will be a great tag-a-long friend, and all the extras like the mirror, textures, sounds, and, of course, the ball pit make it a great developmental product.

            Cute- bought this to use as sort of a toy box for my 7 month old. It is adorable, however it is unfortunately both bulky and has a low capacity for storage. The velcro closure also leaves quite a bit to be desired. In addition- the embroider of his name could have been better. For the price, I was expecting better! Would have been a nice play mat when he was younger. We are not using the balls, but they are of very low quality and I question whether the plastic is appropriate for baby play.

            Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

              I bought this for my 1 year old great-granddaughter and she has hours of fun. She is just at the stage where she likes throwing things and putting things in an out of containers. It brings me such joy to watch her.
