I got this for my niece. Very cute! It just took forever to get. It was supposed to take 6-8 weeks, took more like 10 weeks.

I got it as a gift for my 3 year old and she just loved it so much I just had to get it my my new born! It's a great tool to familiarize them with the letters of their name. My 3 year ols takes it every where she goes either to sit or reach things. Now she takes it to the kitchen sink to supervise her baby sister's baths!

I think that this product is worth every penny!!!! It is well made and durable.

overall its a satisfactory product. no hidden surprises. what you see is what you get. only downside to it is that its pretty heavy. my daughter attempted to pick it up and carry it to a different location but ended up pushing it across the floor which was a bit of a challenge because i had to buy & attach a grip pad under each leg so it doesn't slide around as she steps onto it.

Ordered this stool for my niece and was disappointed that the quality has changed since our first stool we got for our daughter (8 years ago).
This time it is made with pressed board. The name was not centered well at all. The letters were not as smooth. The cut out for the letters was less "puzzle" like and more bubble cut (some letters were flush next to each other and others a bit spaced).
Overall I'd say not worth the price any longer.

These are my favorite stools in our house!! I buy them for gifts and everyone LOVES them!! Kids learn to spell their name, put the puzzle together and can reach anything!!!' My husband and I go to them as well to reach things on the top shelf. Wonderful stools
The design has changed and the letters are smaller than they were six years ago when I bought my daughters but quality is still the same.

The product is adorable and pretty solid, but the feet slide posing a safety concern. My 3 and 1/2 y/o son has almost fallen several times when standing on it and bending over to brush his teeth. The feet have no traction and need some time of grippers on the bottom. I would not recommend buying this product again, but the 2 step is very sturdy and my daughter loves it.

I see in the Q&A that the stool is made from Birch plywood. Is that a vaneer or is the entire stool and letters made from that wood (or what wood is it made from)? It looks like MDF to me.

  Thank you for your inquiry. The manufacturer does allow for 2 capital letters/2 names, however, it does reduce the character max to 9 with no spacing between the 2 names.

  The order is always the same, i.e. for pastels it's Pink, Yellow, Green, Blue, and Lavender. You can have 2 capital letters on the stool, but then you can only have up to nine letters and not ten.

  The letters for the Personalized Puzzle Stool can be replaced by the manufacture. The manufacture would need the following information mailed to them.
  The name on the stool
  Is the stool a one or two step
  What is the color of individual letter(s) and are the color(s) primary or pastel
  Which letter(s) is needed
  If the stool was purchased prior to June 2003, the space where the letter sits would need to be traced. The tracing cut out is needed to be sure it fits comfortably in the space
  Your name, address, phone# /email address (so the manufacture can contact you if more information is needed)
  A check for $9.00, made out to Tim’s Unique Products
