My grandson doesn't want anyone telling or showing him how to do anything, so I've been frustrated concerning his lack of pencil work. This product is great. He is now holding his pencil correctly. He lets me show him how to use the grip. He likes the bright colors. Now he sits and practices printing the alphabet for long periods of time when he is tired from romping around.

I bought this for my toddler to help him with holding a pen/cil as he learns practices his letter/number formations. The grip is comfortable for me, but I think he has a little bit of trouble holding it properly, even with repeated assistance. Could be his fingers are not large enough just yet.

I have spent the past 3 years asking my daughter to hold her pencil correctly every night - I have to always remind her. She used to just have the round rubber grips, which didn't work. These work great - she has no choice but to hold the pencil correctly with these grips. She still reverts back to her old ways when it is not on the pencil, but I hope a year of using these grips she will break her bad habit and finally hold the pencil correctly all the time. Great Product!

My 4 1/2 year old son has had a hard time holding pencils/crayons/markers and even forks/spoons, always asking me, "Mommy, is this right?" while the object is awkwardly jumbled between his fingers. I put this gripper on his pencil, showed him where to place his fingers and Voila! he was holding the pencil perfectly. It was amazing. He was so excited that he proceeded to use our new stencil set for the next 15 minutes and was very proud of himself.

We have been dealing with our local Education Agency to help us find something so that my son would hold his pencil's correctly. UMM they never got back to us (months and months of us calling them and them putting us off). And I found these, and within mins of using them my son's hand writting improved 100% and he loves them!

I got these to boost the fine motor skills of my 5-year-old son, whose printing was suffering because he couldn't properly grip the slippery, yellow-painted kindergarten pencils.

This rubbery pencil grip has made all the difference. It is a wonderful innovation. His printing, which was sort of ghosty and shaky, is now much more solid and strong in its appearance.
