Yes, you read my heading correctly..10 YEARS!! We bought this drum/ instrumental set for our 1st child and 10 years later our 18 month old son loves every instrument; especially the drums (well, he is a boy). I watch my neice almost everyday and the set is used everytime. This is a great toy for a musical child. The creative way each instrument was transformed to a little insect character with beautiful colors makes it eye catch for any child and adult :). The clean up is fantastic because it all gets stored inside the drum I would say that is my favorite part.

I have been playing "marching band" with my granddaughter ever since she could walk, using anything we could find around the house (i.e. two toddler size puzzle pieces, empty plastic cups and bottles, toddler size bucket and shovel, etc.) I must admit when I saw this product my heart fluttered just a little...LOL.

I actually purchased a 3 piece instrument set as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter who would be just 4 days shy of 17 months old. This set is of good quality so I will be keeping it in addition to the Parum Pum Pum set. However, I had mixed feelings about it so I opted to place the order, with worse scenario I would return one of the two sets. I am so glad I did.

This product is exactly as described except none of us can get the "clacker" on the Busy bee maraca & clacker to work, but that is a minor issue.

I told my son and daughter-in-law that this gift was staying at grandma's house, and they had no problem with that...LOL. (I think grandma may get more playtime out of this toy than granddaughter...sorry grandpa!)
