Comments about Potty Training Solutions PODS Potty Trainer:

These are actually more like bladder control pads than maxi pads and the price is in the same range as bladder control pads.

As for effectiveness, worked great for one of my twin sons as he needed to know when he was wet in the late stage of potty training. He was fully trained after one week of using these pads. They work great if the child will feel he/she is wet and then go to the bathroom to finish.

I am now using these for one of my 4 year old twin daughters for the same reason. She didn't want to wear them at first, but I tried again a few days later and she decided she did want to use them. She is peeing more than the pad will hold, but at least she's feeling the wetness. After a few days, she is staying dryer, and gradually getting better at knowing when to use the potty. I just ran out and need more, but think I'll look for some cheaper urinary pads as I need them now. I would much rather send her to Pre-K with these in training pants than in pull-ups.

These are great for late stage potty training if the child is having trouble with the transition from diapers/pullups to underwear.

I was fooled! I just paid all that money for women's maxi pads labeled as "PODS for potty training". Total waste of money I could of purchased maxi pads at my local [@]. Please don't waste your money and be as stupid as I was !!! And anyone who gives this positive reviews is not too swift either...

Comments about Potty Training Solutions PODS Potty Trainer:

I have an older child that continues to have issues with overnight bedwetting. She is getting to the age where she is embarrassed when sleeping over with friends and she is outgrowing the pull ups that we have always used. When I saw the Pods, I was very excited to purchase them and they were everything I had hoped they would be. They are around the same cost as the pull ups, but what makes them so great is that my daughter can wear them with regular underwear and they aren't noticeable under most of her pajamas. She was very excited to try them and is feeling more comfortable using them than the alternative. They have a very strong adhesive strip to keep them in place, so they work well. They hold a lot and don't leak as long as you place them correctly.

Comments about Potty Training Solutions PODS Potty Trainer:

Our 4yo son was born with spina bifida. As a result he has an over active bladder and he lacks the sensation to know when he has to go potty. Without medication he pees constantly all day. We've been concerned that he would have to start school in pullups or have to change his underwear if he leaked during the day. Thanks to medication for over active bladders and these PODS he will need less assistance once he starts school. He also won't be embarrassed by a pullup or wet pants. His quality of life has improved greatly.

This product is basically a very expensive maxi pad. You can buy the same type of product cheaper at a drug store. It is only best used if your child is transitioning from a pull-up to an underwear and may only leak a little. If your child is still having alot of accidents, don't use it.

I also paid a lot of money for this useless product. They are huge and bulky. It bigger than the pads I would use on myself. I put on my 3 year old daughter's underwear. She did not like it and laughed about it. She said, it looked silly and funny. She only used it for 5 seconds and I had to took it off.

I paid a lot of money for these thinking thay would be good for a LITTLE girl who had some accidents....they are huge and bulky, bigger than something I would use on myself...they remind me of the pads I got in the hospital after I had my babies! I could have just saved the hospital pads and used them instead..I was trying to protect my daughter from embarrasment, but these things would make it look like she has a load in her pants...no thanks, and cant be returned for $$ back due to sanitary reasons!

I made the mistake of using pull ups prior to toilet training, so when the real potty training at night came along my son already knew that pull ups were another form of diaper. So I used PODS with waterproof underwear and it has been a blessing. I have only had one leak with them.

Tried using this with my son, who is ready to be potty trained but just not willing to take the time to go potty. I figured these would encourage him to use the potty but would prevent the mess. Well I was wrong. These hardly held any pee and he was completely drenched each time he peed. Thankfully I didn't have a chance to test it for poop - that would have been disgusting.

The design is like the old school thick maxipads.

In short - might as well put your kid in training pants and let them pee on themselves. The only use I see for these is if your kid can stop themselves from peeing once they start - then I could see where it would help prevent mild wetness. But as far as general potty training I was highly disappointed and would NOT recommend these to anyone ever.
