Works Perfectly!

About Me Parent of Two or More Children
Comments about Parent Units PC Guard Tower Protector Gray:
I was going crazy with my kids constantly pushing the power button on my PC tower, and now they have stopped. I was worried that they would be intrigued by the cover, since it's something new, but they don't bother it at all. It is super durable and easy to install, but the fabric could be a little thicker; I ended up adding some paper underneath to help conceal the glow of the power light (but it was only a problem if it was darker in the house).
Just OK

Works Great

My son kept pushing all the buttons on our tower and opening the cd-rom. I was so worried that he was going to break it. This is awesome. He can't get it off! Now for my printer...lol!
so far so good

I use it on my PC, which is near the floor in our desk. My 11 month old likes to pull himself up to a standing position using the PC. The cover doesn't stop him from accidently shutting off the computer by pressing the on/off switch on the top. I hoped it would do that. No luck. However, the product is successful at making the flashing lights and fun slots on the PC look less interesting to him. He doesn't seem to want to play the PC at all now. That pays for itself there. I'm not worried about him wrecking the PC anymore. Good purchase.
works great!

About Me Parent of Multiples (Twins etc)
My twin daughters (14 months) LOVE to push any/all the computer buttons. I was looking for something to cover them and this does the trick! It hides the buttons well, is very durable, and has strong velcro that is hard for little ones to get off.

Just okay...

I thought this would keep my 22-month-old from opening the CD drive, pushing buttons, etc...unfortunately, the velcro is easy for her to pull off (and FUN!) and she still gets the job done...The product is just okay. I am not sure there's anything better out there at this time. I do think this would be perfect for a younger child.
Does the job

I am not sure if the guard will withstand my 2-year-old's curious fingers, but for now, it seems to do the trick. It's not outrageously priced, and for the value, it does the job.
GREAT!

It keeps the cheerios out of the CD drive! The velcro is pretty strong so I don't see my son pulling this cover off anytime soon! His interest with the computer in general has disapeared now that there are no flashing lights to look at!
Great Product!

This works great! It keeps chips and cookies out of my CD-ROM drive and it keeps the kids from turning it off and on. I bought the grey, but should have gotten black. My computer has a light around my on and off button, and the glowing attracts their attention.

PC Guard keeps computer on

About Me Grandparent
I work full time as grandpa daycare for my 18 month old grandson, and part time as an insurance agent. I need to be on the computer sometimes during the day, and he loves to be there with me. He also loves to push buttons, and has shut my computer down in the middle of something important. The PC Guard hides the on-off button, so he isn't tempted.

Since putting this on our computer, our 1 year old has not even looked at the computer. He used to push the buttons, open the CD-ROM drive, etc. Now he doesn't even notice that the computer is there, because it is covered up. I should have gotten this item months ago!
Works great!

My one year old son was constantly coming over and opening the disc tray or turning the computer off right when we were in the middle of doing something. I was afraid he was going to snap the disc tray right off. So I purchased this to cover it up and he doesn't even know the buttons are there anymore. Worked like a charm. =)
great with one tiny problem

This product is great at keeping my one year old from getting to the disc drive and other components of my computer. The only downfall is that the power button light still shines through the material so he is still drawn to it and he can still push it if I'm not watching carefully. But that just goes to show that whatever child proofing you have it does not take the place of a watchfull parent.
