My 18-month old daughter loves shape sorters so I thought this would add some difficulty to the mix. Unfortunately the house has some very large openings through which she can simply push all the shapes... so the learning is very limited here. Construction quality is somewhat poor as well with some of the stickers mis-placed/peeling off, and the house itself is a bit heavy. Do not recommend.

I bought this for my eight-month-old. She doesn't know how to sort shapes yet, but she enjoys taking blocks in and out from the wooden house. It's a great toy for learning about colors, shapes, spatial concept, and motor skill training. I also use it as a storage for other small toys.
