        We use this under my son's highchair to catch the (considerable) mess during meal times. It stays in place well for cleaning, which is a breeze. I was even able to run a steam mop over it for sanitizing without too much trouble. While I love that we can leave it in place, the trim is made of a very soft felt-like fabric that holds onto dog hair and dust add is difficult to get clean. Aside from that, this mat is perfect.
