This works wonderfully!! Our toddler kept pulling out his night light plug and playing with it. This is a great product to prevent that. Now he can't get to the plug to pull it out!! It is a bit bulky, but can easily be hidden with a book shelf or dresser. I wish we'd found this product sooner! It would have saved countless batteries.....we had to switch to a battery powered night light!

Our living room is dark so the corner that we put all of our toddler sons toys in need a floor lamp for light. He would not leave the plug alone so this has been great!

Love the product but doesn't work with large extention cords or surge protector cords. I notched mine out so that it fit.

I was so excited for this product because I thought it would be the perfect antidote for a little boy who loves to pull cords out of the outlet. BUT this product only works for a very specific type of cord. This will not work on an outlet in which you have a thick 3-prong cord plugged in. This product only works for outlets that have a very thin 2 prong cord plugged in. Anything bigger than that is impossible. I'm very frustrated because in both instances where I was hoping to use this product, I was unable to.

This product was great to get my son to stop pulling on the cords. When he feels really strong though, he can pull it off, but that only happened 2 times.

The item is not usable with modern, modular outlets of the type found in newer homes. The products initial description doesn't state this unless the expanded description is selected (at the time of this rating). The problem is really with the website rather than the product in this sense, but since the initial description doesn't reveal this, well, that description is really part of the product I think most folks see.

I'm a parent and a Child Care Professional. We had these in a center I used to work at and I loved them. So easy and safe. As soon as I decided to open my own child care, they were one of the first things I bought!

I purchased this product because the kids kept pulling out the lamp plug by accident. The product works perfectly at keeping the cords/outlet protected. However, they are difficult to open even for adults. It was also not very clear how many came with the order. I only needed 2 but ordered 4. FYI...they come in pairs.

Finally - an outlet cover that is practical, usable, durable and still safe for curious and helpful little hands! My 18 month figured out quickly how to move the plugs so that she could see the outlet. She also tried to "help" by unplugging and re-plugging things into the outlets. Needless to say, my husband and I were not nearly as happy or proud as our little girl was. This outlet cover is a life saver - more than we ever hope to find out! It only took a minute to install and, after a couple minutes of examination by my daughter, she hasn't touched it once. The plugs we use often for lamps, a humidifier, her monitor - they are all safely ignored now. It's so easy to use for grown ups too though. This is seriously the best outlet cover I've ever seen. We're getting more for all the less traffic areas too!

I use this product for the only place that isn't used much if ever! I only use 1 of them. They aren't only child proof but also adult proof. You need a large hand and large/strong fingers to open this!

my son was constantly tringin to get to the ooutlets and pull the cords out of them. Now, with this cover the plugs and a portion of the cords are tucked away and unobtainable. Only down side, is that is difficult to hide all of the excess cord if using both of the plugs in the outlet.

Bought this one because my toddler loves to pull cords out of it's outlet so even with other safer designs of outlets that close as soon as there's nothing plugged in, it still was a major safety hazard...I also wanted a design that held cord as I had extra phone cord that I needed to find a place for while it was plugged in...this was perfect! My toddler along with all my daycare children (in-home daycare provider) can't get into this at all. It's completely younger child proof but still not too hard for me to get off if I needed. Will buy more in the future as I find need.
