No more changing crib sheets at 2 am! This crib mattress protector is a "snap" to change because you don't tuck it under the mattress—it snaps to the crib rails for easy on and off. Soft and comfortable, with a moisture-wicking organic cotton top layer, absorbent core, and waterproof bottom. Just lay it over your fitted crib sheet and snap the 10 elastic straps in place. Machine wash. Imported.

About Me Parent of Two or More Children
Comments about Summer Infant Organic Crib Sheet & Mattress Protector:
As a mother of four children, I thought I had found a convenient product. Much to my disappointment, it was too good to be true! I felt I needed to share my experience, not only to save someone else the money but to prevent a possible danger to another child. This sheet does NOT fit a standard size mattress! Which means there will be gapping and the snaps that are suppose to make this product so convenient do NOT stay snapped. This sheet does NOT lay flat. The waterproof layer on the backing causes it to crease or overlap! Not only unsafe but uncomfortable as well. To insure that it did not shrink in the wash, I had hand washed and air dried it before use. Which defeats the convenience as well. I gave this product one star for being waterproof. That is about all it is good for but you cannot leave a baby alone on top of it. I thought it would suit the purpose for the first few weeks but an active infant is in danger of intanglement/suffication.
Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

The right idea, but the fit isn't great.

About Me Parent of Multiples (Twins etc)
Works as desired: Easy to remove and wash. However, I ordered two of these crib mats/liners, and odd as it may sound, one of them showed up defective, without any of the snaps, so I couldn't even use it. OneStepAhead gave me "store credit," instead of letting me return the item and get a refund. The other one is fine, and I use it all the time (because one of my twins pees through her diaper every few days). It's easy to snap the elastic bands around the bars of the crib. My only issue is that it's too small for my Bellini brand crib ("Isabella" model), which is a pretty standard-sized crib. I have tried to attach those little elastic bands to the ends of the crib, but it just doesn't work. They unsnap if I do that. Instead, I have to snap the end elastics to the size bars of the crib, which leaves the mat a bit loose in the crib. A couple of the elastic bands have come off of my mat. If my kid were a baby, I'd worry about using this mat, due to the possibility that a baby might get one of the elastic bands wrapped around its head or limb, or might eat and choke on one of the elastic bands. Despite all of that, this was the best mat I found for what I sought.
Sleep saver for the middle of the night

About Me High-end Shopper
I have been using this sheet saver since my son, now a toddler, was an infant. Very soft and great to use over the mattress to save on major sheet changes in the middle of the night. Accidents happen! My only reason for not giving this 5 stars is that the plastic waterproof backing cracks after a few washes. I always hang to dry - no drier. I guess that is to be expected over time, but it seems to happen fairly quickly. Nonetheless, it has saved me a number of times and is worth the money for the use I have gotten. I actually have two, so I can put on the dry one on top of the sheet, wash the other one, and keep it in reserve for those late night changes.

This is so much easier to put on an take off v crib sheets. I put it on top of the crib sheets and pad. It feels nice and cozy for my babies! The only downside is durability, I have noticed the plastic liner is cracking on the back. I have also had the elastic straps fray. Nevertheless, I am back to buy 2 more for my twins.
