My daugher really likes this movie. She loves the potty song and will ask to watch it over and over again. I wish it was a bit longer for the price but overall I am happy with it.
Potty Time

I remembered the book that went along with this from when I was younger. We began watching it with our son on youtube where someone had taken a video of it and posted it. So we HAD to get it, because he loved it. It still is a hit and it has helped him learn about when to use the words to go potty, but he just doesn't say them until after he goes in his diaper.(Getting there slowly)

AMAZING!

I got this for my son @ 18 mos. He was going #2 on the potty before age 2. We are not big on TV (especially at that age) so I would only let him watch it when he asked for it.
Not necessary

I had hope for something different. May be a real boy. It is just the book animated and read. It accomplishes the same as reading the book the the kid. I have returned the item.
JUST OK

SHORT. COULD HAVE MADE IT LESS REPETITIVE WITH DIFFERENT SONGS. MORE SCENES. SEEMED OLD AND CHEAPLY MADE. NOT WORTH THE COST ONLINE.

Have used this video, now DVD with all 3 of my boys they love the Song and I suggest getting the Bjorn potty that matches and the book for modeling. It's an oldie but a goodie!!

I don't know why it works, but it does.

Once Upon a Potty has been used to train all three of my children. I am not a fan of the word choices and, as an adult, it seems way over simplified. However; this has struck a cord with all three of my children. I allowed my children to watch the video multiple times dressed as Prudence and Joshua (shirt, no diaper) with potty chair in front of TV. After watching it a few times, potty training started to click for them. I used the Joshua video with both of my boys and now am using the Prudence video with my daughter. She loves to sing the potty song while she sits on her potty.
this works!

This video works. It was short enough to hold my daughters attention. She actually wanted to be potty trained and we were able to do it within a week of watching the video! Highly Recommend

My daughter is 20 months and she learned the song in this DVD the first time she saw it. I noticed that everytime she is downstairs and needs to [*], she runs upstairs and sits on her potty.Too Cute!
I do not like it

I did not like this and will return it. My son watched it but I do not see this showing him what to do. It also does not cover how to wipe or wash hands. It just shows Joshua sitting on the pot and the narrator talking.
He loves it

Worst potty dvd
By MOMMY

Potty training video is for own potty only not good if your using a seat on top your toilet. Video is very boring even the "DR" talking to the parents. This was money flushed down the drain.
DVD ok

Cute DVD. My son loves to watch it. Not sure that it's actually helping in the potty training department. I like the DVD better than the book.
Not what I thought it was

The video is very short and uses silly words like "wee wee". My almost 3 year old son was bored by it.
