I got this because my 1 year old was afraid of the water running in the tub. Bath time has become fun again. It is very quiet and he loves running his fingers through the stream of water. It look a minute to figure out how to install, but we love it and so does our son!

This showerhead is a complete piece of junk! The diverter valve doesn't prevent water from coming out of the mounted showerhead when the handheld showerhead is in use. Water continues to slowly sputter out of mounted showerhead. Translation: person washing child gets soaked! Also, the plastic that connects the hose to the handheld showerhead, is very weak. It cracked when I twisted it on to connect the two parts. The only positive from this purchase is that my daughter is no longer afraid of the cup of water over her head because she realized there was something worse.

I am very disappointed in this product. It does not connect to my bath-spout and the connection to the shower pops off every few minutes. I have been planning to return it but just have not gotten to it.

Kept my child in the sink due to the hose feature to wash the hair. I was dreading the cup idea! saw this, have it, LOVE IT! Now we can bathe in the tub and no stress w hair washing.

I purchased this after reading all of the reviews about it. I was very excited to use it with our two year old twins to help with rinsing their hair. I was VERY disappointed in this product. I followed the manufacturers instructions and used thread seal tape to install it. The piece that attaches to the shower pipe is made out of plastic. As soon as I screwed it on, by hand, the piece cracked and started leaking. I called customer service and they sent out a whole new shower system, no questions. (Customer service was great!) This time I was careful to not turn it too tightly. Since it wasn't turned on tight it leaked spraying water everywhere. I removed it and waited for my husband to try to install it. He had the same problem with it leaking, he even tried applying a thicker layer of thread seal tape with no luck. On his last attempt at installing it the piece cracked again. The concept, hose and handle with adjustable water flow is a great idea but the piece that attaches it being made out of plastic is terrible!

My daughter is 2 she loves her bath time loves the water; but it was always a waste of water to keep it running for her on the tub and I always wanted something like these product so that I can control the water flow and not having to get any water on containers and then try to rinse her over with that. I really love it and now she gets to play with too and she is using it to rinse her self aswell REALLY good and for the price you can't get anything better all other products are way to much or not practical and easy install like this!

This was so easy to install in our bath/shower and it works great! You do need to check the temperature of the water before you use it on your child, but it makes it much easier to wash hair, rinse a dirty child, etc. It has an on/off switch on the handheld showerhead that also allows you to adjust the waterflow -- good for introducing it to cautious kids!

I wish I had this item when my now 3 and 1/2 yr old was a baby. He recently started hating the "cup pouring over head" routine and I don't blame him. This works perfect. He loves it and loves use it himself! I now also have a 5 mo. old that it works perfect for too. I also use less water because of the feature to stop the water flow in the middle of rinses. This was also absolutley so SIMPLE to install. I have never messed with a shower head in my life, but this was as easy to install as making toast. I'm not sure about it breaking as others have reported as I've only had it for about 2 weeks now, but if it did, I would definitley buy another one. I wish I bought 2 for my other bathroom. I guess I'll have to order another!! Hope this helps!

Great item! My 3 year old has been scared of the shower for as long as I can remember. I installed this and the adjustable shower arm, and now we have to "shower off" after bath every night. The best part is - she wants to do it herself! My 9 month old squeals with delight when he gets rinsed off as well!

I wanted to connect this to our sink but it doesn't work at all, even with the universal adapter they gave us. My Kohler faucet is only two years old so it's not old, but not brand new either. I tried to find an adapter that would fit the hose but no luck. So, I'm afraid I'll have to return it which is a bummer, cause I was really looking forward to using it.

This is our 3rd one in as many years. After checking all the local home improvement stores, I couldn't find anything similar for even close to the price. When new, they work wonderfully. The water flow valve at the top and the diverter valve both move smoothly and easily. Over time, they start getting harder to move. At just about the year mark, the shower head starts to "explode" when you turn the water on (scary for both me and my daughter the first time!) ...the air in the line and the pressure of the water push all the pieces right out over the screw that holds it together. Sure, you can put it back together, but it will continue to happen. With my first one, I called One Step Ahead and asked if they had any replacement parts they could send me. They very graciously replaced the whole thing for free. About another year later, it began happening again. I have just realized that for $25 a year, its well worth it to easily wash my daughters' long hair. The hose is nice and long so it makes chasing toddlers around the tub easy and it even works great for washing the dog!

The installation instructions included were very minimal. It didn't take too long to figure it out myself, though longer than it should have.

It's nice to use the tub faucet to fill the tub, then use this hose connected to the sink to do the rinsing.

My husband installed this easily, thus far we have not had any leaks. the baby loves it and it seems to be a great option to continue to use as he grows
