My almost two-year old loves this kitchen. It is a good size (most everything else we looked at was too large and bulky, and for 3 and up). She plays with it everyday.

The best gift for our 1 1/2 year old granddaughter. She is always making us soup to taste and bakes the best cookies in the oven. The unit is compact and made of wood which fits nicely into a corner of the family room. We added knobs to the sink area so she can "turn on" the faucet.

Comments about One Step Ahead My First Toddler Play Kitchen:

I was apprehensive about buying this at first, seeing all of the fancy plastic kitchen sets out there. However, my daughter has purchased items from your company, and recommended it to me. I read all the reviews, along with reading all the reviews on the plastic sets on other web sites. I decided to purchase this kitchen for my granddaughter for her second birthday. She absolutely loves it. It is very sturdy and durable. It is also very well constructed and easy to put together. One suggestion that I do have is that you should offer the pots and pans that are shown in the picture of this item.

My daughter uses it everyday. Perfect for indoor use. Wood is a little thin for the price. Has everything a toddler could possibly want on it.

Comments about One Step Ahead My First Toddler Play Kitchen:

We live in a small 2BR apartment in Manhattan and I snagged this play kitchen when it was half price as the Deal of the Day. It was the smallest play kitchen I'd seen and since I have a son I loved that it was not pink! Also, I prefer wood construction to plastic, especially since this item is out all the time in our living room -- my son's room is not big enough, and we don't have a playroom. It was very easy to put together and my son enjoys opening the oven and refrigerator doors and taking his play food and pots/pans in and out. Some minor issues: It is very lightweight (feels like balsa wood), it is small enough that my son figure out how to climb up onto it within the first day (though he stopped once we told him no), the faucet is wobbly as I couldn't get the screw to go fully into the pre-drilled hold above, and part of the back is open -- not an issue if you are putting it up against a wall, but if you have it out in the open, your toddler will likely love to throw or push things out the back. I'm glad we bought it and hope my son will enjoy it for at least a year to come!

My 17 month old daughter loves this kitchen set. It is just the right size for her and it's not too bulky in my kitchen. She enjoys "cooking" with me while I'm making lunch or dinner. It wasn't too hard to assemble either.

This is just the right size to allow for one cook to play and not have it take over your space. So simple you could put it anywhere, just don't buy a lot of food or bakeware and intend to put it all in the kitchen. Great price!

I love this kitchen! I like that it is wooden and not plastic and that it doesn't have all the stickers, decals and graphics that most plastic kitchens have now. This simple design allows for my kids to really use their imagination. They love "washing" their hands in the sink. It's a great size too for my 3 and 1.5 year old. Not too bulky, fits nicely in our small kitchen and it's not an eye sore. Love the simple colors too. It was really easy for my husband to put together too!

My daughter loves her new kitchen, it is simple but leaves it up to my child's imagination. The directions are not detailed, when you build it remember there are no holes that show on the outside of the four green pieces of wood that support it.
