I bought this backpack for my son who started preschool this past September. Its been great! Holds everything he needs. It is very sturdy and he should be able to use it for a few years! He loves his backpack!

I was having trouble finding a backpack for my little man for kindergarten. I wanted something unique yet something durable I wouldn't have to replace mid year as he tends to drag his bag. It fits him perfectly. Has pockets for organization which he is learning. And overall this bag was a great purchase. And HE loves it.

I bought My First Backpack for my grandson who was going to 4K. We wanted something cute, but not cartooney. This is perfect. He loves the colors and all the compartments. Plus, in a sea of backpacks, this one really stands out. A real value for the money.

This is a nice size backpack, it is not wide like traditional ones. It is slender and perfect for grade school.
Monagraming, waste of money, used it one day and the threading started to unravel. The company replaced it very quickly, but the 2nd only lasted a week before the same thing happened again. So we will have partial letters and ones that won't make ant sense.
The compartment that is on top when you unzip the bag is bulky.

I love the backpack and know that my son will grow into it. I bought it so he could carry his things on the airplane, but I ended carrying it since it was too big for him.

I bought a backpack for each of my kids, age 5 and 7. They are very cute bags even without the initials on them. Unfortunately, I fear that the backpack is a little bit too small for my 7-year-old who will have a few books/notebooks to carry. I would prefer a wider "mouth" so a lunch bag could fit more easily into it, and the matching lunch bag that you can buy definitely does not fit inside the backpack. Still, my daughter likes the backpack and just carries her lunch bag separately. My 5-year-old likes his backpack and it doesn't overwhelm him like the standard size backpacks do. However, the part that fastens across his chest to make it fit him so well is too hard for him to release by himself, so we are not able to use the fastener. The pockets are nice, but the zipper pouch in the top makes it a bit top-heavy and clunky to open and close the bag. All-in-all, I think they are good backpacks, but I probably would not have bought something roomier for my 7-year-old and a different style for my 5-year-old. I think this would work better for preschool age kids.

This backpack is the perfect size for my son who just started kindergarten. I love the monogram option and the way the storage is organized. The inside pocket is perfect for his library book and communication folder while the open area holds his lunch bag and supplies perfectly. Lots of little zipper pockets inside as well. The top zip keeps things from falling out. The only drawback is the closing clip which crosses the chest area and holds the two shoulder straps together. My son is having a little trouble with it but I'm sure he'll master it soon. I love this backpack- durable, cute, most others in stores focus on cartoon characters. We're not into that so this one was perfect for our family!

This backpack is perfect for my almost preK daughter. It's very roomy inside and love that the the zipper is at the top and not around the front of the backpack. Interior waterproof pocket, front pocket, two side pockets. The straps tie down to be the smallest I've seen and expand pretty big as well. She will definitely be able to use this two maybe three years in a row. Love the buckle to connect the straps to help keep backpack on. Great job!

I was concerned that the backpacks would be too small for my first grader and my kindergartener. I was very pleased with the size and the number of internal pockets. Each backpack can carry several folders and a lunch bag inside. I have gotten quite a few compliments on their bags. I even had the kids full name monogramed on the front pocket at the local mall.
