    These instruments had not yet been wrapped for my infant grandson who loves music, but my two year old granddaughter could not stop playing with them - while they were still in the cardboard containers. I had hesitated at the price, but now see they were well worth it.

      My son loves the toys. but as an infant, he doens't have a firm grasp on his toys yet. he dropped the tambourine and it now only plays one song, rather than all three, and it's a shorter version of it as well.

        These instruments would be great, except for the fact that the music and songs are way too short ~~ just a few seconds long! And there is no way to turn them off. So if you are storing them in a cubicle and move the cubicle ~~ you have music!!
        They even play when there is very little motion, like taking them with you on a car drive.

        Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

            MY SON, AND HIS TWO COUSINS ARE ALL A COUPLE WEEKS APART, THEY ARE 2. MY MOM BOUGHT THESE TOYS FOR MY YOUNGEST COUSIN WHO JUST TURNED ONE. AS SOON AS WE TOOK THE TOYS OUT OF ITS PACKAGING, ALL THE 2 YEAR OLD WERE FIGHTING OVER THE TOYS, HOGGING THEM, HIDING THEM FROM EACH OTHER, IT WAS CHAOS! MY 1 YEAR OLD COUSIN DIDN'T EVEN GET A CHANCE TO PLAY WITH THEM! WE EVENTUALLY HAD TO TAKE THEM AWAY BECAUSE THE KIDS WERE JUST GETTING OUT OF CONTROL WITH THE TOYS! IT WAS ABOUT TO BECOME A FULL ON BRAWL OF TODDLERS! JUST GOES TO SHOW HOW MUCH THESE TOYS ARE LOVED BY THE KIDS! 5 STARS!
