I can get the lock off with a simple tug, but being a full grown adult, I don't think it was designed with me in mind. My guy is 10 months old. I'll know better in a month or so if this product really works. It has been pulled off manually but a few adult visitors not patient enough to figure it out :)

Very easy to install and easy to use. However, because of the way it is installed, it seems that it might be too gross to clean up. So I only use it when needed and remove it when bathroom is under normal use, but that is just me. Overall, I think it is great.

Tried out two other types of toilet seat locks. Neither fit on my toilets. They both required a large gap between the lid and the toilet tank when the lid was in the open position. Also, both required adhesive that I dreaded having to remove in the future. This lock was easy to install. fits both toilets well (they are very different from each other) and requires no adhesive and no tools. So far they have kept the toddler out of the toilet.

The disadvantage to this product is that you have to remove them to clean the toilet thoroughly (yuck). But that's what gloves are for.

My toddler loved to pull on these, and one of them popped right open for her on a regular basis. Not exactly child proof. Also, since these attach to the bowl of the toilet, they get gross and aren't too easy to clean. Yuck. And on my toilet with the thinner seat, the plastic would actually cut into my leg when I would sit. With four toilets in my house, I have tried lots of options and this one was the worst.

This lock has worked well to keep my toddler out of the toilets. I am a little disappointed because the lock fits a little awkwardly on 1 (out of 3) of my toilets. The lip of the toilet is angled so it doesn't fit great.... but it still works.

Very easy to install. My 1 year old can't figure out how to open it but very easy for my 3 year old to open when she needs to potty. My husband can't figure it out yet lol just kidding :)

I have tried other toilet locks and this one actually works. It is very easy to install and to unlock when needed.

This does not work. Easy to push up toilet seat a few times and the thing just opens. Seriously a waste of money. I returned two of them because they did not work. I got the kind that installs on the toilet using the seat brackets and they work amazingly. More money but worth a life.

It does what it says and doesn't look as bad as those locks that are a giant arm. I can see where some reviewers may need to use a double stick padded tape to keep it in place.

This works well but could use some refinement in fitting. It is a little loose if you don't have a thick toilet lid and it just sticks up higher than it needs to if you have a plain lid. But overall, it does what it is designed to do.

These work great simply because they were the only ones that fit our toilets and they do keep the tots out. They also keep out every house guest and visitor we have ever had. They also get really gross after awhile because there are a lot of nooks and crevices to the part that hangs inside the toilet. Better than toilet toys and drowning danger.

I was leary of purchasing this lid lock when I read reviews of how it didn't work. My first child could have cared less about playing in the toilets, but my 18-month-old loves it!!! I couldn't keep him out until I installed these locks on all of our toilets. He tried to open it once, didn't succeed, and now he doesn't even attempt and moves onto something else he can get into.
