It's easy to assemble, so much so that my 12 year old daughter did more then 4 grown men did. It's very sturdy and has provided hours of fun for my three children. To atest to it's sturdiness, shortly after we put it together we had an expremely bad storm that came through with winds 80 to 90mph and it stayed put.

We love the climbing dome. It took my husband about 2-3 hours to assemble. My only two cons are that the bees like the yellow bars on the dome and my 2 year old is a bit short for it. The age recommendation is 3 and I would agree with that. My five year old is able to climb all over it but my 2 year old will have to grow a bit until he can really enjoy it.

Great design...very sturdy! My husband and I both climbed on it and tried to flex it, but it didn't budge.

We purchased this for our 3 year old grandson and his face lite up when he saw it. I think 3 would be the minimum age for this toy...the bottom bar is at chest level for him. I can see him playing on it until 11 or 12.

Assembly was easy. My husband used a power screwdriver and assembly took several hours...good instructions... easy to follow.

I worried about mowing the grass under the climber, but my lawn guys had no trouble moving it to mow.

The only negative for us was that the box was not sturdy enough and was partially torn when we received the item and then fell apart when we tried to move it.

Great value...I highly recommend.

We've had this set for 4 years now, we got it when my son was 1 and daughter was 3. They're old pros at it now. It was relatively easy to put together and it's weathered the outdoors very well - just some fading of the colors. The only con is that all the kids in the neighborhood love it too. It does hold a lot of kids.

This is the second of these climbers we've owned (the first was left behind at our old house when we moved). Worth every penny, this is a very sturdy, piece of climbing equipment with many play possibilities (throw a large piece of canvas over it for a play-yurt!). Our son loves it and any children that come to visit are drawn to it like magnets. Note about assembly: instructions are clear. There are many, many pieces to connect and they must be connected firmly so if you are lacking in wrist/forearm strength, find someone to come behind you and check for tightness.

This product is a great item. The kids love to climb it, but it has some flaws. It did rust the first season we had it and continued to rust. It is unstable in the means of the following... It comes with lock nuts that don't allow you to unscrew the bolts which is good but some of the bolts were irregular which didn't allow you to fully screw them tight or snug and less bolts than needed were given. Some stripped to where you couldn't tighten them, but the nut stayed connected to the bolt. Hardware store didn't sell lock nuts, so we had to use wing nuts which frequently loosened and were lost in the grass. We should have contacted the company to replace bolts/nuts. This item needs to be in a stable setting such as set upon mulch so it does not need to be moved when mowing or it weakens the bolts and lock nuts which then break. It is a little heavy being all metal. Overall I would recommend this product with the above suggestions. We have had it for three years and besides some rusting around the bolt and nut areas it has held up pretty well. I suggest spraying it with a wax spray or a car wax prior to use and each year to help keep it from rusting. It should last for years if waxing is done properly.

I have been wanting to buy this for my son for over a year now and finally did it. He is now 5 1/2 and he LOVES it! It is larger than I thought (which is good) and after seeing him play on it, I'm thinking that waiting until he was a little older was a good thing. The instructions say to put it over sawdust or sand but we have ours in our backyard over grass. For younger kids I would say that putting it on a softer surface might be a better idea. My husband put it together in about an hour and a half and didn't have any problems. Great investment and I think he will play with it for a few years. You can also put a tarp over it and it makes a cool tent. I wish I had this as a kid!

This is a great product! It is large enough to hold all 4 of my children at the same time, yet small enough that my little ones can learn to climb and hang upside down without fear. I can even play on it with them. It is super sturdy! Very glad we invested in this. Also, the instructions said it would take 2 people 5-6 hours to assemble. My husband did it alone in 2 with no problem.

I wanted something for my 2.5 and 4 year old for inside our apartment. We are fortunate to have a large apartment with a sizable living room, but we took over a portion of it for the dome. It is rather high, which is good as it makes it more interesting for older children, but it also made us a bit nervous, but we put pillows and mats all around and under it. It is EXTREMELY sturdy with real metal bars and joints. I have the multi-colored dome, which is pretty. My 2.5 plays on the lower bars and the 4 year old is already climbing the entire thing and hanging on it. I prefer having it inside so that we can have several layers of mats and pillows all around it. We are moving to a house and I think that we'll still keep it inside so that they can play on it all year around with sufficient padding.

My kids LOVE this! I have 2 year old twins that love climbing on it and my 4 year old is big into hanging upside down on it. It is very sturdy as I also love to hang upside down on it and work my abs while the kids climb! The older neighbor kids also enjoy it, it's a fun toy to keep the kids busy for quite some time!

I have a small daycare in my home. The children are pre school age and very active. We have always had a pool and took it out this year. The kids were upset at first until we sodded the yard and put up TWO of your climbers. They are so happy and so are the parents who have tired children. We just assembled the dome for my three-year-old grandson. While he is a bit young for it now (it's for his third birthday), he is already showing signs of growing into it by experimenting with what he can do, although he can't climb it alone yet.
It is very sturdy! My 24-year-old son climbed to the top to help the 3-year-old and the dome held him easily.
