At first I thought this was kind of a dumb product but after reading the reviews I thought I would give this a try. I actually love this product. It cools my son's food very quickly. I also use it as an ice cream dish and the ice cream dosen't mely as quickly.

I just bought this to spend enough to get a discount. It's really pointless you could just stick the food in the freezer to get the result.

Buy this. In fact, buy two, so that when one is all dirty, you can use the other. This is a genius product and perfectly executed! Our daughter won't eat anything that's hot. She likes her food at room temperature or below. This cools it all in a matter of seconds, rather than playing the in-the-fridge/out-of-the-fridge game. Just stir the food around and voila, ready to go. That way, we can all eat the same thing at the same time at our preferred temperature. This would also make a spectacular hostess gift for someone with a young toddler...

My son is a child that if he sees his food, he must have it immediately. He doesn't have the patience for it to cool down, and then when he tries to eat his food and it is too hot, he then refuses to eat it all; even when it finally cools down. This cooling dish has saved me for when I'm unable to cook his food without him noticing, or I accidentally cook it for too long. I now place his food on this dish for a minute or two and it is cooled to the perfect temperature. Since I've used it, we have had no tantrums that the food is too hot or from me telling him he has to wait when he doesn't want to. I highly recommend this to any busy parent with toddlers.

Works as advertised. the only problem (if you could call if that) is that the boys like to keep their food on it, and it gets really cold. they don't seem to mind though!

Perfect! Only takes 60 seconds and the mac and cheese, or baked beans, or anything else hot is cool enough to eat w/o getting burned.

Nothing worse than a screaming hungry child who wants to eat NOW! My husband says I'm a sucker for "gimmicks" but even he admits that this thing WORKS. Cools anything and everything in less than a minute so your child can eat and you don't have to worry about burning a little one's mouth. Highly recomend!
