Comments about Free Spirit Publishing Learning to Get Along Book Series:

I bought the Respect and Take Care of Things for my 3 year-old daughter. It is a great teaching book even though my daughter often gets bored the half way. So I read it to her only few pages at a time. I was amazed when I asked her questions about the danger associated with the pictures and she could clearly tell me about it. The words are very appropriate to my daughter. For example, there is a page talking about the girl tries to put stuffs away from the floor so her little bother doesn't fall down. And my daughter often strips over her own stuffs she left on the floor. So my daughter now knows the danger of leaving stuffs all over the floor. The pictures are not very attractive but the concept described in the book is great.

Comments about Free Spirit Publishing Learning to Get Along Book Series:

I thought this book was excellent, since my niece (3 years old) doesn't want to share with her younger brother (1 years old). By reading the book and explaining in more depth (I love the suggestions at the end of the book on how to use it more in depth i.e. discussion questions, examples, etc.) she's understanding the concept of sharing from a perspective of wanting to share instead of being forced to comply. I thought the book was extremely well written (especially that it addresses that sometimes I may not want to share and that's ok too). I plan to order more from this series.
