This product is great. It is made very well and feels like something of quality and substance. My only issue is the locking system. It can be a little tough to manipulate and I need to make sure I actually secured it properly. However, as long as I use both hands to turn/squeeze the lock and push down on the lid at the same time, I for sure it is securely locked

I bought 2 of these because the "large" didn't fit all of my medicines I wanted kept away from my children. They both worked as intended, until one fell on the floor and now the childproof latch doesn't close! So now I just have a box that my kids can easily get in to. Product should be better constructed, since it will become useless if your child drops it on the floor.

I love having all of our medications safely locked up. I work as an ER nurse and see kids come in all the time for medication overdose bc they were able to get a hold of medication-I had trouble opening this product once but it actually is easy to use. Safety comes first!

One drop on the floor and I feel like this medicine chest would break open. Kind of rickety. Difficult to close and open.

We actually just purchased a second one of these. The problem is that the hinge tends to break off easily after only a few months. This time we put a bit of oil on the hinge to help it not be so stiff. We mostly just use it to store excess medications, vitamins, ect. We use the smaller one for day to day medications. I would recommend the smaller one if you don't have a lot of medications, but the larger one tends to have construction problems.

I ordered two of these just a few months ago. One is broken already. The other one is on its way. Stick to the small one. I have had a small one for my father for years, and it is still in great shape. Wish I had ordered the small ones instead!!

This product serves the purpose but the construction is poor and the locking mechanism is clumsy to use, difficult to open.

Almost impossible for young hands to open, and adults too! You just have to remember that it turns counter-clockwise and it's a breeze.

We have had two of these so far, (in the course of a month and a halfzand the quality is poor. One of the hinges on the cover broke off the first one after 6 days of use. One Step Ahead replaced it free of charge (but not without suggesting that we might have opened it beyond the 90-degree angle that it was meant to open to, which we did NOT). We have now had the second one for about 3 weeks (which we have also NOT opened beyond a 90-degree angle, have not picked up by the handle, or anything else abusive...) and the hinge on that one broke this morning. I have always been thrilled with everything I've purchased from One Step Ahead, but this item is a huge disappointment.

One of the hinges on this medicine safe broke after one week of normal use. Do not buy this because it's a waste of money. It was a great idea, but terrible quality.

It's almost impossible to open It takes many tries and maneuvering the box around to get it open. The lock feels like it's going to break at any moment. I know the point is to keep your child away from the contents but it shouldn't keep the parent away too.

box is too lightweight and flimsy. Grandson figured out in less than half an hour how to open the lock. He is only two! Had it less than a week when one hinge on the lid broke.

I'm so disappointed that I bought this cheap plastic container with a lock that never worked! I don't recommend to buy this very low quality product!
