    I got this before my daughter was born and have used it since she was a few days old. I have seen lots of baby gyms at friends' houses and I think I have the best one! Everyone that sees it is amazed that it moves. As a newborn I placed her in it and let her listen to the music and watch the toys move. As she developed she started following the toys with her eyes, then her whole head, then reaching for them. It's also good for tummy time, especially if you move some of the toys to the loops around the edge or just use other toys at ground level to attract attention. She is four months old now and we still use it almost every day. And we haven't had to replace the batteries yet!

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
