I like the toy and we use it in our baby's crib all of the time. The only problem is it has short string and only ties on one end. So with the way our crib is we can only have it face one direction. We are not getting the full potential out of the toy. All in all I would still recommend.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    My 10 week old loved it!I don't leave it in the crib all the time because he gets bored when he sees it all the time. I take it out once a day and he seems fascinated every time. This is a great toy because it grows with your child.
